Don't worry about putting your body into starvation mode. Its impossible to do without actually starving yourself. How are you calculating your calorie burns during your workouts? I would set your diary to lose 1 pound a week instead of 2 to preserve as much muscle mass as possible.

Those Sonic ice cream shakes. 2k calories for the large! I had at least one of those a week with my second pregnancy! Now i know why i gained 60 pounds during that pregnancy.

If you are losing weight on low carb then you are also losing weight on low calories. I personally cant do low carb. I get horrible brain fog and my breath gets rancid. Counting calories is so much easier and i get to eat pizza and french fries and lose weoght at the same time.

I play with my calorie burns with trial and error when i don't know the exact burn. I would start with saying that burned 600 calories and your and see how you feel after 6 weeks of logging that.

When i was nursing, i could never cut calories because it would always hurt my milk supply. First- talk too your doctor. After your doctor gives you the okay- I would start slowly. Just try and lose .5 pounds a week and see if your supply remains. If you're good for a month- get a little more aggressive and set your diary…

I've been doing Piyo for about a year. Through trial and error I've found that 200 calories an hour is my average calorie burn from Piyo.

I don't understand how almonds are considered satisfying to some people. For me, I could eat 1000 calories in almonds and still be hungry. I still eat them, mostly because i bought a huge bag at Costco and i hate wasting food, but as soon as i finish that bag i probably won't buy them again.

Only 20g of carbs a day for the next 2 weeks. It might fit. Don't get excited about the loss. You'll gain it all back as soon as you eat carbs again.

Are you still nursing? I found losing fat while nursing to be extremely difficult (any calorie deficit would kill my milk supply) and i couldn't do it until i was done nursing.

If you're only using maturing cups and spoons, then you're consuming more calories than you think.

Definitely strength training. You want to lose as little muscle as possible as you lose weight. Cardio can be fun (if you enjoy what you're doing) and you get to eat a little more. Weight lifting is where it's at.

Water. I'm usually thirsty when i think I'm hungry

Water. 4 out of every 5 tonnes i think I'm hungry, I'm actually thirsty. So If i feel hungry i drink a glass of water and reevaluate my hunger in 30 minutes.

As a mother with kids, i would not think it was weird if i took my kids to the playground and saw someone working out there.
