Good call. I think that the fact that he is promoting a balanced diet is more meaningful than where he was eating was.

Eggs from the store are terribly disgusting. I, however, have a flock in my backyard that are treated like pretty little ladies and I can assure you that there are no dead chicks in my eggs. I refuse to touch the eggs at the grocery store though - I agree that they are repulsive - animal abuse is a grotesque thing.

Green leafy lettuce has protein, especially Kale. Tofu has a lot of protein as well as beans. Almond milk and soy milk is fortified with nutrients. If you're a vegetarian and actually eat vegetables, you shouldn't have to worry about protein; It's in almost everything.

I'm taking L-Carnitine. Does anyone know if it's supposed to do anything special? I heard it helps you burn fat faster but still haven't seem any proof.

My boyfriend and I have been doing the 30 day shred for almost 2 weeks now. I am definitely a lot stronger. It is a little difficult but well worth it. Have not done level 3 yet but 2 kills me every time.
