I've been a member for a long time and MFP worked WONDERS for me during my first year on the program. Have fallen off the bandwagon a bit but am committed to jumping back in and adding new friends. Anyone can feel free to add me...I love good, honest support. My new goal is keeping my diary open for all to see

Hi! I'm 26 and have been using MFP for a year and a half now. I've really learned how to eat and exercise in a way that I can continue doing forever! Feel free to add me!

Yikes, we all have struggles. I have fallen off the bandwagon plenty of times and was able to get back on with the help of MFP friends. I would love to help motivate you. I have to admit I am an honest friend, however not brutely honest and judgemental. I will give you encouragement and constructive comments. Friend…

I went back and February and did not log at all. I was mindful of my food choices but did not deprive myself. For example, I still chose egg white omlets with lots of veggies, milk instead of cream, and lots of water. I had salads with chicken and nice dinners. I was absolutely over my calorie goal the entire week but I…

C25K is the best thing out there!!! I started it last June and only lasted about 3 weeks...started it again in September and ran my first 5k on Thanksgiving morning!! I loved it so much and saw so much progress that I am now doing to C210K and running a 10K this September!! The program works if you stick with it! My advice…

It takes time. When I started the same happened to me. I had a 1200 calorie limit and was exercising every day. I didn't lose a pound until about 2 1/2 weeks after I started. Since then I've pretty much been losing a pound a week (except for the last month because of the holidays...I took a few steps backwards). In terms…

I just got the Polar FT4 last week. I LOVE IT!! I can barely feel it under my sports bra and it is super easy to use! Turns out I have been underestimated some of my calories on MFP so it's been really helpful! Plus the pink watch is super cute :-)

I like running close to my house because I know the area. I were a reflective vest and carry a small flashlight. I listen to music on my phone but keep it quiet enough so I can hear cars and things around me. I run on sidewalks ONLY when it is dark out and since I run on the main street in town it has sidewalks on each…

Today is day 3 of level 2 for me! My wrists are hurting and I've gained .4 pounds since starting the work out :-/ I did take before pictures so hopefully when I take after pictures I will be able to see a difference. I can already see a change in my shoulders!

HOLY LEVEL 2!!! My entire body hurts!

I enjoy doing 30 day type programs and tracking my progress. It makes it more interesting for me. I am currently doing Jillian Michael's 30 day shred and the couch to 5K running program. I plan on continuing running 3x/week once I am finished and switching to a new tape every month or so. It keeps me motivated when I have…

Yesterday was my day 5 and I was feeling much better than the first couple days. Still do the motified pushups and dont use weights for the lateral arm raises but hey, im doing it i guess!

I AM SO SORE!!! Ughhh yesterday was day 2 for me and it was harder than day 1. My "abs" are screaming!! I do the motified version of the push ups right now so I can finish the full set. I also struggle with side lunges with arm raises. I can never get my arms up!! How heavy of weights are people using?? I only have 3 pound…
