I am not celiacs but eating gluten-free does alleviate a lot of my joint pain and other issues as well. It was amazing the difference in overall well-being when I went gluten-free. I was gluten-free for 4.5 months (I ate gluten 4 times during that time.) I chose to NOT replace breads & cereals as I'm too cheap and it…

I don't keep track of sugar on here. For me it is calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sodium. Takes care of the whole sugar problem! LOL

Yes please! :)

hyperhidrosis maybe? Drysol is a great product. Can be used on the hands and feet for sure, (at night) not sure where else. Prescription strength antiperspirant at night then use a good antiperspirant during the day. Botulism shots help some people. There is a radio-frequency type therapy as well. Wearing natural fibers is…

Huge difference. Are you measuring with a tape measure? How about clothing sizes? Keep track of all of them, not just the scale!

fully ripe produce!!! Love cantaloupe, watermelon and tomatoes. I only purchase these during the summer when they are fully ripe!

I love grilled veggies! Thick slices of onion are heaven grilled and then put on top of the grilled hamburger! Grilled zucchini, or eggplant are both great. (I brush with a little bit of Italian dressing instead of just plain olive oil, but both are good!) I don't care for grilled tomato slices but my family loves them.…

Maybe he just doesn't understand what it is like for you. Try nicely telling him. My story may shed some light: I was told by my doctor to go gluten-free to see if this would help my page-long laundry list of complaints/symptoms, physical aches, pains and problems. I had been gluten-free for 5 weeks and hadn't had a single…

When possible I prefer frozen instead of canned. Corn, peas, etc taste better from frozen instead of canned and less sodium!

Fixed this over the weekend. YUM! Will replace the lentils with a small amount of ground beef (1/2 - 3/4 #) next time and then add some cooked rice. The rest of the recipe I'll leave the same but will give me another great recipe that is still easy and yummy! :)

This was posted last week in another crock pot thread by another member and I made it over the weekend. Very yummy! :) This one is easy and I've served it to others several times and everyone really likes it Lentil Soup (serves 8) Throw all of this stuff in the crock pot in the morning. Turn it on low for 8+ hours…

Holy Cow! That is the difference that 14 pounds made for you? You are a ROCK STAR! Nice job! :) Thanks for the pictures, measurements and story-line. They all provided different points of information and facts about eating/exercising. Keep it up, you are doing so well.

Roast Salt and pepper the meat and sear before putting in the crock pot (if you want!) Add: 1/2 - 1 jar of banana pepper rings 1 onion thinly sliced 2-4 cloves of garlic. I throw these in whole Shred meat when done and serve with pepperjack cheese on buns. We love this on whole wheat buns/rolls. Also good BBQ sauce.

Moral of the story, get off our butts and do something. ANYTHING! LOL Nice to know I burned a few extra calories at the shooting range today. 2 hours of shooting/standing/loading magazines! :)

My problem is the use of canned tomato products. I cook but I do use canned tomatoes and canned beans. My solution is to start my beans from dry (I do a bunch and freeze them) and to use salt-free diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. It has helped.
