I'm a nanny, I take the kids to the park almost every day and since it's been nice we usually walk there. Which gets about 3000 steps just walking there and back. A little bit, definitely. I lost about 50 lbs a year ago, but I gained 35 back. I got to 159 and I hated the way I looked. I like the way my body looks when I'm 180, but my blood pressure doesn't stay consistently in the normal range unless I'm 165 or less. I third your OBGYN. There may be another reason for it not showing up. Or maybe there isn't, but you need to rule out the other possibilities

It's worse for me the week before, so I just weigh once a week and take that weeks weigh in with a grain of salt. If I know my eating was on point and that I did my 3 workouts (minimum for me) that week, then it's just hormones and body fluctuations. I don't sweat it.

I got New Balance underwear for running at TJ Maxx and they are AMAZING. They do not budge when I run. For pants, my favorite pair are capri legging type running pants, I think Danskin Now (walmart brand) and they tie at the top! Tying is essential for me lol

I am training for my first half! It's May 23rd, my 24th B-Day! I found a 20 week marathon training program online and really loved it, so I took the long runs and cut them in half and the plan seems to still work (I am on week 3). I am definitely slow, and it is hard, but I want to complete one!

I am 5'6, and it takes about 15-20 lbs for me to lose a pants size. But almost exactly 15lbs for shirts.

I love a good tall Guinness or Newcastle... just don't over do it! And also, don't weigh in the day after drinking. It is just bloat, not actual gain.... unless you went crazy on the alcohol lol.

We are here to encourage and yes keep accountable the people on our friends list but just because you do not eat clean, does not mean you are losing weight the wrong way or unhealthy way. Please do not feel guilty about eating ice cream and enjoying some Applebees!

Check your priorities. You should be doing this first and foremost to be healthy and vanity should come second! Why would you "give up" a healthy lifestyle? Having ice cream is fine!
