  • I have a bodybugg....and have always LOVED it! its getting old so I am looking to get the Body Media Core. It's pretty much the same as the bodybugg I have but a little smaller. I have the display, and it seems to help seeing how much you are burning and how far you still need to go. The only cons I can come up with is :…
  • My best friend did...she is still smoke free after 8 years!
  • I really like it....I never thought I could run that long, but it is do-able...every week I thought 'There is no way I can run that long'...but I did..I don't know how, I guess your body just does it. don't be afraid to re-do a week if you really feel you are not ready to move on..but also don't be afraid to push yourself…
  • I agree...start building your ab muscles.....I too have simular problems and my PT had me do a lot of stretches that not only feel good but help strengthen the lower back muscles. I also use an inversion table to decompress....sometimes I love it, sometimes I don't...lol either way you need to be careful when using one ;)
  • and I definately think running outdoors is way harder than on a treadmill ;)
  • I am starting week 5 today...and its been very hard for me. The breathing part is the worst, I lose my breath before my muscles get tired. I have never been a runner, but almost every weight loss story I read, they say they ran...lol I thought I would try it and here I am starting week 5...It is hard, but worth it. There…
  • I have the V3 w/ display and love it! seeing my calories, steps and activity all day keeps me going harder....it alerts you when you've met your goals and its great for seeing how many calories you burn for each activity you do.
  • Have you checked on the Bodybugg facebook page?? they are VERY helpful on there :)
  • I bought a glass, digital Weight Watchers scale at walmart for $10...it is right on with my Doctors...and when I set a 20 lb. dumbell on it, it comes up 20.1 so its pretty accurate
  • yes, the bodybugg requires a monthly subscription, but you get a few months free with purchase. Its worth it..I will never be without it!

  • I have one...and I LOVE it..best money I ever spent. the only thing I don't like is that I can't wear it kayaking..lol, its not water resistant. The support system that goes with it is awesome! It really keeps you on track.

  • I'll give it a try
  • I've tried a lot of different running sneakers and I have to say that so far..Asics are by far the best...you can get them for $50 or you can go up to $150. I've had a pair from price ranges and love them! so you don't have to go with the more expensive ones, look on Zappos or onlineshoes.com...they usually have great…
  • I have never been able to control my breathing when I jog either... I can say you are definately going to fast. The Couch to 5K helped me a lot. give it a try it builds up your speed and edurance a little at a time. Good Luck! http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml
  • Me too! I turn 40 in November..I seen the Bodybugg on 24hr fitness in January and it came with a 10 month subscription, I figured it was a sign...lol, I would be turning 40 in 10 months and I've always said if I am going to lose it, I want to do it by 40. So GOOD LUCK! on your journey, with my bodybugg and MFP, I hope I…
  • Just started ChaLEAN Extreme...hoping to Start Turbo Fire in June ....Good Luck!!
  • 4oz. Chicken Breast with 2 cups Birdseye asian stir fry veggies (250 cals.)
  • Go for it!! it is definately NOT selfish... ( and enjoy it) "You deserve this." ~ Jillian Michaels
  • I know the feeling...I follow everything, diet, exercise, food logs...and NOTHING. I hope you find the answer...and share it with me ...LOL Its very frustrating.
  • sometimes for a quick meal we fry/steam cabbage in a pan w/ cooking spray and then just add a can of corned beef. I've never added sugar, I think its sweet enough from the cabbage. generally its about 300 cals. per serving and we usually make 4 servings. sometimes we cube up a little bit of potatoes to put in too. we just…
  • I love cabbage. I use it in a lot of different ways, so I guess it depends on what you want. I make a ham, greenbean cabbage soup, sauteed cabbage with corned beef, cabbage rolls in sauce, sauteed cabbage with onion.....I can go on...LOL I use cooking spray instead of butter when I sautee and a little water to help it…

  • I have a MIO Classic....its strapless and it seems to always be accurate and its the only one I've found so far that you enter your weight as well as age and resting HR. most of them don't have you enter your weight and are based on an "average". I really like it.
  • I walk/run for 20 minutes every morning on my treadmill I am 38 yrs. old & I weigh over 200lbs. and I burn 250 cals. give or take 25 depending on the intensity. 337 cals. could be possible depending on your weight and intensity.....when I put the treadmill at a higher incline I burn 300 cals. your best bet would be to get…
  • Most machines are set up to use an average person , My treadmill at home says the calories burned are based on a 185 lb. male. so if you are able to put your own age & weight into the HRM...I would go by that, it will be more accurate.
  • I think your 30g is about equal to 1/2 cup.....
  • I think the total amount of Calories that you can eat BEFORE exercise is the amount you can eat and lose your desired amount of weight WITHOUT EXERCISE....therefore when you add exercise it adds more calories because you were already at your goal amount, if it doesn't add them you will be under your goal and go into…
  • I have a MIO HR watch too, and it is very accurate as long as you take your heart rate frequently (when your intensity level changes) it was the only watch I found that you put your own weight in. I really like it , its a great way to keep track of your calories burned. the only problem with mine is sometimes the heartrate…
