Bread has always been a trigger food for me. I'm low carbing it, so not having it at all is the only way to go. And I can't ever stop at just one (or a few) tortilla strips. So they just aren't in the house. LOL. The other trigger for me is chocolate. I've been using raw cacao nibs in Coconut Manna, and that seems to…

I hope you guys are right! I lost steadily for 2 months then stalled for a week. Today I'm having a carb cheat day -- I did 100 carbs, and I hit the gym big time. I may do another tomorrow. Then I'm going back on low carb. Let's see if I shock my body into shape. Good luck, all...

Thanks for the idea about sweet potato! Will add that in....

Very interesting...I've been eating between 30 and 60 carbs a day. I'm on 1200 to 1400 (depending on exercise) calories a day. I will watch more closely... Haven't had dry eyes, but I have had dry mouth...even though my skin isn't dry. Interesting...will try to drink more water as well.

INTERESTING. I have not noticed my eyesight improving...but it does seem like I have fewer floaters. I've only been low carbing for about 6 weeks...would love to see an improvement in my vision. I'll let you know. Thanks for the post!

Thanks for all the replies, guys. I haven't been eating the prepared crap either, good point. It's all freshly made in my kitchen. Takes some getting used to, but it's worth it. Another Wen girl! (G)

Cinnamon in my coffee, on apples, on coconut manna, etc... Rosemary, basil, thyme and sage are the other four...I use them on meats and fish and veggies

It's really good stuff. Addictive, but good! I think it's like coconut butter, but I've never tried coconut butter so I dont know for sure. Next time you're at the store, you may want to try it! I'm loving it...

Low, gravelly voices, just enough to send that shiver up my spine British accents also drive me out of my mind...very hot.... And I love it when a guy has a dress shirt on and a tie...but the tie is loosened a little...top button undone...shirtsleeves rolled up... yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm ;-)

Yes, definitely! Also much calmer overall...no mood swings. When I start to yawn, I know it's time to refuel...

That's such a good question! The photo shoot is an awesome idea. I think the biggest reward will be to buy new clothes. A lot of my stuff is getting loose...so my reward as I go down in size is to throw out my bigger clothes and get smaller ones. But I don't want to buy a lot of interim clothes, either -- just enough to…

I've cut sugar, all wheat, dairy, processed food, starches like corn and potatoes, and alcohol. It's only been 5 weeks, but so far so good. :-)

I *knew* the Fat Faery was real, UncleMac!

kvalmera, the first week I went low carb I found it difficult to consume enough calories. I'm off wheat, sugar, and dairy to see how it works -- and it has been working well for me in a number of areas, including skin, hair, nails, digestion, weight loss, etc. Everyone is different, of course, I'm just happy that it's…

These are my numbers too, and I've been losing about 2 lbs. a week. It seems to be working. When it stops working, I'll mix it up. The only fats I'm eating are Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, and whatever fat is present in the protein I'm eating (chicken, fish, free-range beef, and pork when I'm going a little crazy) Other than…

I've been using almond flour and coconut flour to substitute for flour in cookies, pancakes, etc. Calorie content is high, so portion control is important, but it's doable. I'm dairy free and sugar free, but coconut milk and almond milk both work -- agave or stevia are fine as sweeteners. A bunch of really great recipes…
