I like yoga meltdown too...Even on my rest days I like to get a light workout in and yoga is perfect for those days.

I like the mission whole grain wrap. It has 210 cals and 6 grams of fat.

Don't go by the scale. Start measuring yourself, if you're losing inches you're losing way more than pounds. Good luck :)

I did the Warrior Dash, NY last year (my profile pic was from the Warrior Dash). You're going to have such an awesome time! The great thing about this race is that you can go at your own pace. I was already a runner so it helped with endurance and stamina however if you are currently not running I would recommend…

I feel that eggs have a bad reputation but its actually quite good for you. Great source of protein and have nutrients like B12, folate and others. I think anything in excess is not good for you so eat it in moderation. For me its an easy breakfast option so I'll usually have 1 hard boiled egg & white every other day or so.

How funny, I was just looking at this recipe this morning on her site. Must try :)

I feel like if you deprive yourself of certain foods you'll want it more so maybe you can have a piece of chocolate or whatever you want to indulge in once a week. Even if you stay within your calorie limits you want to try your best to have wholesome foods. Everything in moderation :)

I'm 5'0 so I know how difficult it is to maintain a certain weight. Because we have such a petite frame even 5lbs of weight gain or loss will look like 15lbs. Eat within your calories, keep moving and you'll do great! :)

I agree...At the end of the day it's still fast food with an extremely high salt content however it's a fast food joint that offers healthier options than other places. I can still get a veggie sub for under 300 calories. It's funny and ironic bc my parents own a few Subways but its still rare that I eat it.

I actually eat fruit and veggies like they have no calories. I obviously know they do but it has worked for me with weight loss. If I feel hungry I will always grab a few cuties (2 or 3 tangerines) or some celery sticks and carrots with low fat blue cheese dressing (please be aware of serving, 1-2 TB) or a huge bowl of…

Maybe because MFP members don't want to be scrutinized on what they are choosing to eat. Everyone has their bad days along with their good. What if one day I want to eat 5 Twinkies? At least if its private I can still list it and realize what I chose to eat and observe and not have everyone's 2 cents. Obviously i know i…

I honestly think I gained the 10lbs that I am currently trying to lose from night cravings. Its still a work in progress (while I munch on some crackers and cheese :P) I don't know what it is about night time that makes my stomach start growling. All kidding aside, a few tips I'm trying out are... brushing my teeth,…

Nike free runs are light weight and have the support you need. I run about 3-4 miles a day and these seem to be holding up well. The only complaint I have is that putting these on and off are not as easy as laced sneakers. I use to wear Nike Shox that were so heavy when I ran and now I feel like I have nothing on my feet.…

I'm not sure if one person inspired me to lose weight. I feel like it was more of a group effort. My family always knew I was the "chubby" one and I think I was losing weight for them however i decided this year it will be different. Until I do it for myself it will be an on going battle. In regards to your…
