Oh, I want to jump in! I just found this but my instincts must be sharp as a razor because Mission Completed! Running, weight lifting and elliptical on Monday! Yoga on Tuesday and Thursday! And I just completed 45 min of running! And reading the Zombie Guide in the evenings, he he ;-) What is in order this coming week?

I have no pictures yet because I feel like it doesn't "show" when I look at them now. I wnt from 137 to 129 ish (that I don't want to log quite now because I want to make sure it stays under 130, I have been stuck at 130lbs for 2-3 weeks), but my BF tells me he can see it. Most of all I started lifting and oh boy - even…

This! ^^^ I want to say that for me it got better with age. I hated my body so bad, and always felt like a fake that people wouldn't see it with clothes on. Working out --> sanity check! I have not so much weight to lose but I am struggling with the scale as I see a number I haven't seen in years, and I just can't "see"…

Dumb question - but how do you clean the roller? I imagine you must have to disinfect it every time, right? Do you roll for the needles to go all the way "inside" the skin? Or you just leave it on the surface? It's sooo tempting for my thighs and butt stretch marks. Always thought I just had to live with them!

Do you "feel" it, though? 75 lbs - that's quite a bit! Do you feel like you breathe better, move better? And with pictures now vs. before? I've known people who said they had an "aha" moment - not seeing anything for pounds and pounds and one day, they look in the mirror one second longer than usual and they finally see…

Kick boxing maybe? And... pole dancing. Love it. It really takes some strength! And progressing is fuuuun. Downside is the price, I find it expensive, since I work out 5-6 times a week I keep it as a treat... and in the meantime I started strength training to lift my butt off the floor on that damn pole! :-D Good luck!

Hi Domino! I believe I am entering the "zone". From experience of getting back and giving up on losing weight, I have a "stall zone" weight. I am there now - I was steadily losing 1-2 lbs every week and now it's slowing down, and I know I'm getting to the point where it's "stuck". Every time this past year I would get…

Wow! You have a hell of a motivation. Still keeping active despite the pain... Good luck with your surgery and the recovery! I hear once you're recovered you can walk and run like new :-)

Maybe it won't help much but... SW : 137 CW: 133.6 GW: 125 but I'd be ok with 128 I think The thing is that I lose relatively quickly until 132. Like 2-3 weeks I can go down 5 lbs. Then I get really discouraged because it takes 3 weeks for 1 lb. So I just need to keep going this time without so much looking at the scale…

I'm glad to find this topic! I could have written pretty much the same thing :-) I am in the same boat - while I'm happy in general and accepting I will most likely never be 115 lbs again (at least not in a sustainable, balanced way), I still want to lose those 10 pounds, because I feel better in my skin, but also my knees…

Ha ha Lacewitch I love the pictures "during the PhD"! I was the same :-) Did the pole help you lose weight or did you start after the weight loss? I took some classes but always felt at a disadvantage since I am a little heavier than the other girls. So I ended up giving up using as an excuse that I'll get back to it when…

I am also looking for accountability! So you guys can add me if you like, I will be happy to provide support as well. And Shunthor, I am a biologist and I am in the same boat - I think it's like smoking, smokers (and I am a former one!) are usually the best informed on the disasters it causes. Plus, nursing is not exactly…

Oh wow! This is motivating. I am scared of starting, but need to try.

6 kgs that's awesome! You're at my goal weight, and I know I have a hard time getting there and maintaining it. Congrats!!!

Oh wow! Awesome work! How do you do it? I also need to see this kind of progress. I usually hit a plateau and get stuck on a number. You look great!

Hello! I can also relate, I am 35 too and wanting to get in better shape, by counting calories but mostly by sticking to a workout routine. I am not sure how it works either, I love yoga and "body/mind" type of exercise, so I signed up at my Y a few months back and I alternate cardio and yoga classes. I'd love to do more…
