I have a horrific cold this week, but have been forcing myself to take the stairs at work and try to do more light walking. :(

I actually just weighed myself today and I (Surprisingly) went down from a few weeks ago. 164.7lbs is my accurate current weight. Challenge Goal is still losing 20lbs.

My name's Becca, I just moved to Virginia Beach with my son, dog, and my mother. I'm 23yrs old. I go to school full-time online, and just got a full-time job. :) Currently I do a mix routine with Insanity as the base for my exercises. I work in some Nike Training Club routines (mostly the targeted 15 minute exercises) and…

I don't believe it's a hoax. I think you need to take into consideration what exactly your eating. You can eat 1200 calories of things that are bad for your body, and you won't see the kind of results you're looking for. I don't know what your routine is or what your diet is, to really make a comment on why it might not be…

Single and enjoying it. :)

First, I wanted to say that I am really proud of how strong you are to tell a bunch of strangers what you're going through. And, to continue to put up with that - I can respectfully say you are a lot stronger than you know. Second, I agree with most of the responses I've seen saying get councelling and move out. I was in…

Braggs is always a good choice and they even have some recipe books if you were motivated to make your own. Or Annie's Roasted Red Pepper - 2 tblspoons is 60 calories, I even use this ontop of a burger instead of ketchup. It's not spicy but it tastes really delicious! I used to have a Key Lime Vinegrette that was also low…

I grew up in a family where food was always the center of every gathering. I'd say how I was raised as well. Then it became depression and stress that kept me lazy and consuming, and then I formed a relationship with food where it made me happy but my weight made me sad.

@ SwimFan - LOL I don't log things that are 0 calories, such as Apple Cider Vinegar, which I add to my morning smoothie. And I don't log gum. But I try to hold myself accountable for everything I intake.

Obviously, new clothes and a spa day. Every week that I complete my workout goals, I award myself $20 in a "SAVE" jar. This can go towards a new tattoo, or other item I want once I reach my goal.

I feel the same way, I had been on MFP for a while and hadn't really stayed committed. If you need any help just reach out, I'm here to help you and others will be willing to help you!

All I have to say is good for you! Congrats on your weight loss and divorce ;)

^ That, made me smile. haha :) I have to agree that it's all in how you carry yourself. I dont believe that losing weight OR simply stating it as getting healthy, is necessarily changing for anyone else. Living a healthy life regardless of your weight is better for YOU, and will help improve other areas of your life.…

My terrible ex husband, when he got mad would tell me that I was ugly and fat and lazy. And often would talk about how he hated me because of it. At the time I was doing insanity everyday while he slept in. I had lost 30lbs after having our son, and he had continued to gain weight. It was pretty terrible. It made me work…

I don't use milk, but I use Arctic Zero Ice cream which is practically dairy free aside from the whey protein. It helps add a sense of "Creamy" to my shakes. I've seen recipes online to make your own dairy free ice cream by mixing strawberries, and coconut milk with a few other ingredients. This could be a good way to…

haha, my goal is to just keep going everyday -- and take it one day at a time. I've fallen off the bandwagon so many times... I just can't do it anymore. Monday will make a little over 2 full weeks of working out, and starting my 2nd week (for the bazillionth time) of Insanity.

Well at home I am not doing it entirely alone. My mother is attempting to eat healthy with me. But she is more flexible about what she eats, and how many calories she consumes in a day and she doesn't motivate to work out like I do. We're at different stages, she and I, and while I appreciate her feedback -- she doesn't…

Walking down the candy isle is hell... But you're right, it's wasted calories.

I started logging again a few weeks ago and the first week was rocky. I didn't log everyday or everything and I went over a lot. I've gotten much better and really consider what choices I make. Thanks. :)
