I absolutely weigh and measure all my food. It goes both ways. You want to make sure you are not eating too much but you also need to make sure you are eating enough!!

Some days I struggle to get over 1200 calories and some days I have no problem. I never ever eat all my calories in one day. It's just too much food and then I would be going over the other categories of protein, fat and sodium. if I get over 1200, I'm content. AND still losing weight.

if you take the total minutes worked out, add a zero and divide by 2 it should give you a pretty accurate idea of how many calories you burned. Your post didn't say exactly what you were doing at the gym. I always go by what the treadmill tells me I burned.
