  • My husband may be a jerk in other ways but I do have to say he has never ever done that to me. He has never used my weight in an argument either. He eats whatever I put in front of him at dinner and does not bring bad food in the house. He has some snacks like pepperoni and cheese that I do buy for him but he never eats it…
  • I wouldn't take them. Lord knows what they do to your organs in the long run. Take a look at the food program I'm on www.myfoodlovers.com. I've lost 69 lbs since October. This website is great but if you don't have a food plan, if you don't understand how food works with your body, it's either going to come off real slow…
  • When I started my food program back in October, I quit drinking for 3 months. I was a social drinker on the weekends but same as you, a few drinks and then I want to order fries or something else quite bad for me. We basically stopped going to the bar where all our friends hung out. I needed to get myself under control…
  • You are probably not eating the right foods, in the right combinations at the right time. It's great that you are here on this website but you need a food plan. Something that teaches you how to get the weight off and keep it off forever. Check out my food plan at www.myfoodlovers.com. It has literally saved my life.
  • I just had this conversation with a friend of mine. Make whatever recipe you would enjoy and measure out your portion. Measure out the other portions and put in tupperware to freeze. You will cook less and have meals to take out other nights.

  • If you really want to make a change, go to www.myfoodlovers.com. Being on this site is great to track your food, water and exercise however if you don't have a "food plan" and it doesn't sound like you do, it would be much easier for you to get help. Food Lovers is an awesome program that I've been on since October and…
  • I shop at Acme which has store brand instant oatmeal, low sugar, apples and cinnamon. I mix it with one scoop of protein powder and 2/3 cup of water and nuke it. For lunch, I like to buy those rotisserie chickens that are already cooked. I break it down and store in tupperware. 4 oz of chicken on a Trader Joe's flaxseed…
  • once you push yourself and see results, i bet you jump up at 5 am.
  • That theory backs up my food plans philosophy of eat more to weigh less. this is why it's so important to consistently eat every 2 to 3 hours to keep your metabolism burning, your body fueled while eating more healthy smaller portions. I've lost 69 lbs since October following this plan, and am rarely hungry except towards…
  • you are definitely not eating enough. science has proven that when you don't eat, it puts your body into starvation mode which means it holds onto the fat. you should eat something within 30 minutes of waking up to start your metabolism back up and then eat every 2 to 3 hours. small meals, correct portions, healthy food.…
  • Take them to a consignment shop and get money to buy new clothes that fit. Decide one and forever that you will never ever fit back into those clothes. Don't keep them around as an escape!
  • Always what the machine says. I just don't know where MFP comes up with their stats.
  • I'm lactose intolerant, i wonder how the almond milk would effect me?

  • I'm searching for that app right now. Thanks for sharing! we really only go one place to eat and it may be once a week. the last two times i was there, i ordered a cheeseburger no roll, LTO and a double order of steamed veggies with no butter. it's all bar type food and it's really the best I can do if there are no good…
  • I stick with the Luna bars, they seem to be the least in calories and best nutritionist wise. I limit them to one a day however and not everyday. They are nice to keep in my purse in case i need a snack. I eat every 2 to 3 hours all day long and sometimes just can't make it home in time.
  • Yes, per meal. I just wanted to share because it is so important!!
  • you should always attempt to eat, at the least, the 1200 calories but try to eat some of those exercise calories as well. your body needs the fuel. of course, it should be healthy food!

  • I cook every night and use this website very well. You can add food to the database and as long as you know the nutritional info you should be fine.
  • it's the same pic?
  • I set small goals for myself, get to the next 10 lbs. I also participate in 8 week challenges with my food program, myfoodlovers.com, which helps set small goals. I started at 294 in October and am down to 225. Wanting to lose weight and exercising is great but without an actual food plan, it's easy to stray off track. I…
  • I told you sodium makes a HUGE difference!! So flipping happy for you! Do you see me jumping up and down waving my arms!!

  • Soy crisps are one of my favorites. Unfortunately they have turned into a trigger food for me so i can't buy them anymore. They are by Eat Smart I think? I find them in my grocery store in the chip aisle where the organic stuff is. The parmesan and garlic ones are to die for. You can have about 20 chips for a reasonable…
  • When i started trying out the incline on the treadmill, my knee rebelled. i was also told not to run on the treadmill, it's too much of a strain on your knees. This came from the personal trainer at the gym. He said jogging outside is better for you. i also started taking glucosamine for healthy joint revival and i have no…
  • HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT!!! Keep up the great work. I've gone from a 3x back in October to an XL this weekend and am LOVING IT!!! I can actually shop in the regular stores now and it feels awesome!
  • Did you stay within your nutritional goals? absolutely Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? absolutely What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? did all my strength training and cardio What would I have done differently? i could have gone back out last night to do more cardio What is today's personal goals? Already got…
  • I'm already there. I quit back in October for 3 months straight and now may have 2 drinks per month. That's it. I absolutely can see the difference on the scale when I have ONE drink let alone a few so I really limit myself. I find now that I don't even like how I feel when I have one drink.
  • I would never take diet pills. People have died from them or at least they have ruined people's organs. No way. Healthy eating and exercise is the best way to go.
  • Breakfast - instant oatmeal, low sugar, apples and cinnamon mixed with 1 scoop protein powder snack - white chocolate macadamia luna bar lunch - 1 whole wheat flour tortilla (Trader Joe's) with 2 tbsp Sabra hummus and 4 oz rotisserie chicken with 3 slices of tomato snack - jello sugar free boston creme pudding dinner - Tri…
  • I weighed in at 294 back in October and bought myself a really good pair of Nikes. It made a world of difference at the gym. I went to a specialized sneaker store in Media, PA called The Bryn Mawr Running Company. They actually took a look at my feet and how I walked and then recommended certain types of sneakers.
