Thanks so much for all the feedback! The reason I failed at WW was because of the no limits, so I would just sit eating fruit all day (which actually never fills me up and just makes me more hungry!). I know that I work better with a clear limit on what I can eat which is why I've ended up coming back to MFP.

Yeah 5ft 4 and 131 lbs. When I do exercise I exercise a lot (i.e. I just did a half marathon). Maybe its water weight as you say!

I do agree with what another poster siad. This study was on obese people - who are probably eating way more than 1700kal a day and therefore will loose easily if they stick to pretty much any diet. Although I do agree that every calorie is not made equal!

I have always suffered with constipation....so know all there is to know!! The more fibre you eat the more you need to drink. Fibre essentially bulks out your poos (sorry!) but if you don;t drink water with it they will just be dry and get stuck!! x

It's a difficult one to call as it depends how hard you are working out on each. I ate my normal pretty high carb breakfast and then ate a protein bar mid morning and have also eaten fruit and a yogurt this morning (all before my work out)! Did feel a little bit shaky.
