  • Fantastic job to both of you! I lost 4.5 inches this time around and about 4 or 5 lbs. I didn't do it everyday but I had also done it for a month in mid march too so I think that coupled with life getting in the way, I was over it. I'm really looking forward to doing Ripped in 30 though!!! So glad to have something…

  • I'm in ; )
  • I've lost 3+ inches and 3 lbs but don't really see any difference but still worth doing!!
  • Well that's just GROSS!!! And a fantastic reminder to stay strong on the weekend!!
  • No, its more of a way too much blood in my head and its going to explode feeling and it takes a few minutes for it to stop. Hopefully it won't happen all the time

  • He is SO adorable!!!!!
  • Ripped in 30 for me too! I see our group continuing!! YAY!!!!!
  • I feel your pain girl! I did the shred for 16 days in March/April and level 2 MESSED my back up badly. Pretty sure bc of all the plank stuff so this time around, I only do the walk out plank and thats it. With the other planks, I use the cardio from level 1 and so far my back has been doing much better.
  • I second jcmjim! Your motivation has done wonders for me! Once again, THANK YOU!!
  • I seem to be better at working out on the weekends than during the week and its a long weekend here ( in Canada) so yay for three days of consistancy for me!! I think I may actually go to level 3 tonight bc I have to modify so much of level 2 I don't feel like I'm getting much out of it.
  • did you take measurements and pics before you started and compare them?
  • Definitely seems like not even half of the members in this group come in here. Maybe they are just quietly suffering instead of moaning like us  I'm on level 2 day ??. I've missed a few due to hectic days so I'm not sure if I should count those rest days as a day. I don't really want to but I'd like to start Ripped…
  • I feel like I'm cheating bc I've had 3 rest days (2 of them in a row) but its good to know we're half way there! Thanks for the daily motivation!
  • I missed yesterday bc of such a hectic day but I did some major grass cutting and yard work. Was soaked in sweat and pretty sure I burned way more cals doing that than the Shred. Back on track today!
  • That is awesome!! Good for you!

  • HAHAHAHA!! I haven't seen that movie in years. Happy Mothers Day jcmjim!!!
  • I tried Claratin which didn't work so I'm trying Allegra now. I vaccuum almost daily (I run a home daycare) and sweep and mop every night. I usually don't even get them but every few years they come along. I made it through! Had to stop to blow my nose a few times but I did it. L2D1 DONE!
  • Definitely a good one from both of you this morning. I was so bummed out I couldn't do the shred last night. I have allergies and my head feels like its going to pop right off but I don't care....I'm SO doing it tonight regardless!!!
  • I was curious to see if I have lost any inches. I certainly didn't think that I did but in total 3.25! Also down 3 lbs. Its funny bc my old way of thinking: I wouldn't have measured myself and would have felt like nothing was happening so I would give up. Measurements are SO important!

  • Welcome to this amazing group!! If you did want to get started now, Level 1 is on YouTube. Only advice I have is work through the pain. The first few days are hard bc of all the pulled muscles. But once you start the exercise again you won't really notice the muscle pain so just work through it. Good luck!!
  • Thank you!! Before I joined this group I wasn't too into the community aspect but I see that I was very wrong in doing things myself. Your motivation is contagious for me and THANK YOU for that! You ROCK!!
  • That is awesome that you are off the meds!!! GOOD FOR YOU!!!!
  • I don't think The Shred was designed to lose weight. If you search through the boards you will see very few lost much weight. Seems the average was 2-6 lbs. Keep working at it and maybe next month try something different. I'm going to do the Ripped in 30.
  • Great discussion! I drink a coffee in the morning with 5% cream and the rest of the day I drink Mint Green Tea (3 cups) and then for this month my goal is to drink at least 10 cups of water which I've been successful with so far. I've also been trying to keep my eye on sodium which was much higher than I would have thought…
  • I'm not seeing any progress but I did in March when I made it through 16 days (had back issues so I had to stop) and lost 7+ inches!! I didn't lose any weight though. I think I'm not seeing anything since I just did it...maybe....at least that's what I'm telling myself. I'm sure once the 30 days is up I'll have great…

  • I can't do the push ups on the floor bc I have a compacted disc in my back so I do them on a chair which is still pretty tough.
  • I'll be doing day 6 in a few hours and looking forward to it!
  • I do 2 miles of Leslie Sansone in the morning and then when my youngest goes to bed I do the Shred at night
  • Glad your calves are better. Day 4 complete for me too and the jumping jacks and jump rope didn't kill me tonight! Definitely gets easier with every passing day.
