I started running this month. By running I mean run/walk intervals. I will probably always do the interval method when running. My running interval is already longer than it was in the beginning.

I'm going to open a thread each week for those of us with chronic health conditions. I love the idea of weekly challenges both fitness and nutrition based. Some ideas...eating the rainbow daily (veggie/fruit consumption), getting enough water, exercise levels, trying new exercises, new foods week, etc.

I'm planning to walk/jog the Color Run. I decided to use this plan earlier today. It will well planned out.

I took measurements for the first time yesterday. I have already lost some weight, but I want to be able to track the difference losing weight has on my body. I haven't decided how often I will update those measurements yet.

I think a different thread for each day would be a good idea. My hubby is at work and both of my kiddos are still sleeping. I'm enjoying the quiet before the craziness of our day begins.

Try spices other than salt. You could also try Mrs Dash if you don't want to experiment with your own spice combos.

I forgot to add that the reason I choose not to sign up again this time is because a lot of the foods that I'm eating are mostly zero or very low point foods since I'm going more veggie. It just didn't seem like it would work well for me.

I plan to weigh once a week. I have a kidney disease, so if I weighed daily I would become frustrated easily. I can retain quite a bit of fluid over the course of a day.

I have done WW a few times over the years. I had considered joining again, but have decided against it. In the past I would still eat fast food because it was within my points range. I decided to make total lifestyle changes and focus on healthy cooking. I feel that MFP will help me achieve those goals better.
