I have them as a snack,after a workout,in the evening when I need more calories,but am not hungry.....I think they are good anytime,as long as you are not going over your calorie intake.

I had to stop having lactose,so replaced the parmesan cheese with goat cheese,just as yummy. In my oats I put fresh fruit,or dried cranberries. You could do a stir fry with your brown rice,chicken and the peppers,onions,sprouts and peas,add some garlic and herbs,chicken stock. Hope these help a little.Best of luck:)

How much water are you drinking? If you are not drinking enough sometimes yoyur body will hold onto it,also watch intake of sodium,there is alot hidden in refueling drinks. Plain water,or water w/fresh lemons,limes better for you.
