I don't use a gym... I do have lots of free weights and a weight bench. So yeah, if you want to get serious, you have to invest.

For my cardio I usually do like Dance/Club music Legs Day is ALWAYS hardcore alternative (angry music) the rest of my days are a good mix of whatever pop music is out there.

Very sad to hear about your experience on here . Yes some are extremely rude and immature. Just be the bigger person and ignore them. I have had my fair share of hate mail..in reality..they can't bring me down.

Oh my goodness, LOTS of programs you can do at home. You don't need silly DVD's to get a fabulous body =) I work out at home, I haven't been to a gym in over 10 years

Just say "No" Find a healthy alternative to the sweet. Ice Cream ....healthy version = Banana, protein powder, skim milk, peanut butter..all ice mixed in a blender mmm mmm delicious

I Personally don't count calories (hence the red diary numbers) I just keep track of my macros. It has helped me maintain muscle growth and fat loss. Good luck with what you want to accomplish =)

You should ask your trainer... "are you a certified Nutritionist?" I eat Cereal on the weekends =) I say screw it and eat it within moderation!

I love protein powder =) In my opinion, if you're in need of extra protein amounts, then by all means go for it. My favorite is Muscle Tech 100% whey!

I do very little cardio 2-3 times a week. I'm not bulky. I lift 6 days a week... Bodybuilding is such an art that its often misunderstood. I would say for your height and weight, try around 1600 and with a breakdown of 30/40/30 Pro/Carb/Fat Good luck sweetie!

If you are good on your carbs and sugars just try adding more protein to your diet. Chicken/tuna/fish/egg whites Its how I keep my proteins high. When it comes to shakes, you will get carbs added because they are used to fuel the body after a work out.

Don't be afraid to let them push you. They are a trainer and with all the knowledge, they KNOW what they are doing. I personally don't scream at my people..I just keep them happy and motivated =)

I personally would go lower reps 10-12 at a heavier weight. Just my opinion. When I get into the 12-15 range that means you are getting stronger. Time to up it up!! and do less reps =) Hope that helps!

I would recommend taking a look at getting ideas..not totally copying. What works for someone else might not work for you. I eat a pretty clean diet. You can check mine out. Don't worry about the red numbers. I don't count calories, only macros. Use ideas from my meals..not my numbers since I am a body builder.
