  • Mom of 2 here. I log daily and love adding new friends :)
  • I have the Sunny Health & Fitness Pro Indoor Cycling Bike (also ordered from Amazon). I've used it roughly 3 hours a week for about a year. I really like it so far-- it does make a high pitched squeal when I am using a lot of resistance on climbs, but it's barely noticeable with headphones on :) So far it has held together…
  • Alaska hands down has most of the highest peaks, followed by Colorado, but Mount Whitney in California has the highest mountain peak in the contiguous States. ^^Ahhh Heidi you posted like one second before me!!
  • "Parlez-Vous Français" --Art vs Science :)
  • Across The Universe and The Matrix both 3 times :)
  • Feel free to creep my profile and add me if you'd like :)
  • I love how open you are about your past. You've already come a long way! Feel free to add me :)
  • Just a thought-- watch the temperature of the soups and liquids for a bit (if your dentist didn't already tell you) -- too hot will dissolve the clot! Chocolate cream of wheat is actually pretty tasty, and graham crackers/oreos/nilla wafers dipped in milk long enough to get them soft enough will at least help you feel like…
  • Find out if the room has a mini fridge and microwave before you pack/shop. You'll want a can opener too just in case. Those things will have you set for "dorm cuisine." Don't forget ramen and microwave popcorn for the true college experience :)
  • I so wanted to be one of those cute preggo moms at the gym that was all belly...but exactly halfway to my weight loss goal I got pregnant. But you know what, I'm still rocking the belly at the gym and feeling great even though I still have 50 pounds more to lose. I think a big key to a good pregnancy is getting to a…
  • In all honesty I did not think the results were worth the effort (though I may just be bitter because I didn't see ANY!). Some of the moves were very challenging (killer butt work!), but the instructor just didn't keep me motivated, so "pressing play" everyday felt more like a chore. In fairness, my diet should have been a…

  • I have to Second Summer Sanders workout! I really enjoy it! There are 3 workouts (one for each trimester) that focus on mainly strength training with a band (gotta get a band for this-- that's the only equipment you need though). It's a good strength training workout, but has zero cardio so you have to switch it up for…
  • When I weighed in at 17 weeks I had gained 7 pounds. Two weeks later at my 19 week ultrasound, I was at 15 pounds!! Lol, I thought I was doing good before that! I'm hoping it was just water weight maybe?! 8 pounds in 2 weeks was not was I was aiming for! I just hope I don't keep rapid gaining like that-- I'm supposed to…
  • Another August 22nd here :)
  • I really like the Summer Sanders Prenatal Workout-- it has 3 workouts, one for each trimester. The only cardio in it is really just the warmup, the rest is all strength training. I'd reccomend additionally getting a cardio dvd to go with this to keep things rounded out!
  • I like the sodastream idea! Never thought about not making soda with them before :)
  • My favorites change monthly, but my most played... 1) Joyride - Tania Doko 2) I Like That - Richard Vission and Static Revenger ft Luciana 3) Night Of The Hunter - 30 Seconds To Mars 4) Cuckoo - Adam Lambert 5) Shout - Tears For Fears
  • That was pure evil genius! If she can't laugh off a prank like that cut her loose. But if she's cool like I bet she is, you best watch your back...she knows where you sleep ;)
  • This is cool! I'm thinking of starting 30DS this month-- it will be great to see how you've progressed!
  • I'll be your buddy! Feel free to add me :)
  • Yes, start adding strength training to your cardio now!! The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn and the faster you lose weight. Plus when you reach your goal weight, you'll already look more defined and have less loose skin to firm up :)
  • You've already decided to take charge of your health and that right there is a big hurdle for most people! Try not to get down on yourself, just think how from here things can only get better. Feel free to add me if you'd like, I'd love to help cheer you on :)
  • ^^Thank you Savas :) Good on you for getting healthier pre-pregnancy! Hopefully you can get some good motivation on this site :) Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like!
  • Welcome to your new addiction ;) This site is great-- lots of inspiring people to keep you motivated. Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like!

  • These movies aren't really about weight loss, but show people training hard. I think they're motivational :) -Stick It -Never Back Down -Fighting -Blue Crush -Sidekicks (okay it's cheesy...but Chuck Norris is in it ;)
  • I am a BIG believer in stretching. True, it doesn't prevent/fix DOMS, but it certainly does help with range of motion and stiffness. My IT bands are tight as bats, and the only way I can keep working out daily is by foam rolling/stretching them daily. There is a lot of research out there on both sides of the stretching…
  • I had picked out several styles/cuts, but found out today the store only sells one brand. Apparently not my brand ;) I did go to a different store today and found a pair of pants that fit beautifully (same size, but that's ok :). I am stoked about the 43 pounds!! I'm almost half way there, so I figure the lack of size…
  • I'm 33 and just got my nose pierced this year :) Nobody has ever asked anything about my age-- as far as they know I could have done it 15 years ago! I say go for if you want one, and if you plan on a tiny little stud, you might be surprised how many people don't even notice it (even though at first you feel like you're…
  • I have two!! Every Saturday I like to do a good spin workout, and the last four Saturdays, without fail, one of the girls comes into the spin room and plugs her iPod into the overhead system and cranks the volume up so high I can't hear my music with my headphone volume ALL THE WAY UP!! The weirdest thing is they are…
  • I eat both healthy and not-so-healthy low-cal snacks ;) -light yogurt -string cheese and some almonds -stila granola snacks -dehydrated fruit pieces -celery with peanut butter -100 cal microwave popcorn bag :) -roasted chick peas (yum!) -hummus and pita chips
