  • Best of luck for good news and that they will be able to avoid a CT scan. Glad you went to the doctor. Feel better soon.
  • Taking your son to your gym where you are doing something positive to keep yourself healthy for your son, as well as the experience your son is having enjoying the differing surroundings and socialization in the gym daycare, is a great thing to do. Keep it up! :) Best of luck to you and your son.
  • You really needed to see a doctor some time ago, please call right away or go into a clinic or emergency room. Don't even be thinking about exercising, just go get checked out.
  • I do think it is child abuse to overfeed a child to the point of extreme obesity, but lacking other factors of abuse, it seems unbelievably cruel to remove a newborn from a mother or children from their mother.
  • Men's Health created the various Ab Diet programs and they put out a lot of similiar books for at-home weight training in that circuit style, plus they originated the very informative and readable "Eat This Not That" books, so if you like that style of fitness reading, I'd say Men's Health is a good mag. Men's Fitness Rx…
  • I also often jog inside the house for various reasons and I have an exercise room with weights and benches and a DVD player and etc. to do weights, yoga and other workouts. I do also walk and jog outside, but I gave up paying gym fees a few years ago, plus no need to waste time driving there, although sometimes it is fun…
  • Personally I think it is sad she'd put her name on this stuff.
  • IMO they vary in accuracy from scale to scale just as digital ones to. :) It is not unusual for weight to fluctuate six pounds from day to day or even more, especially if one gets on at a different time of day.
  • I like Slimfast Low Carb (I know regular Slimfast can be controversial, so don't shoot me :) ... I like the low carb one only), plus Muscle Milk in the 14 oz banana creme formulation (NOT Muscle Milk Light or Muscle Milk in the 11 oz serving formulation ... they are all different). Plus I like to keep good quality whey…
  • I buy the new CK book every year. It is the best. You can get it in bookstores but it sells out quickly. Can order on Amazon or anywhere online, and yes can also access CK free to look up items, but the book is nice to have. Has a lot of info in a small book.
  • I am very sorry to be argumentative about this and it is totally up to the individual whether they want to swallow pills in the hope that it will boost their workouts ... btw, a shot of chocolate milk will boost one's workout and one knows what is in that. :) It is strictly my opinion but putting these kinds of rainbow…
  • Some of the items on the ingredients list cited ARE known to be harmful to some people, especially those with hidden or unknown health issues, in my opinion. But she is no worse than any person who endorses or advocates "diet pills" and now her line includes detox products. Putting her brand on whey powder is fine, in my…
  • Slimfast has a low carb variety with NO ADDED SUGAR (other than what is in the milk that is in the drink) and no sugar alcohols. It is found with the other Slimfast products but is NOT "Ultra Slimfast." I like it and use it not so much to lose weight as a quick meal replacement, usually for breakfast or for a snack. I eat…
  • It is pretty much just a rebranding of a Pure Protein whey powder. Pure Protein is a good protein powder ine that has been around for a long time, so this should be a good product, in my opinion, but I'd personally just buy Pure Protein and not the Jillian label. :drinker:
