Only if it has "partially hydrogenated" junk in it.

I better not tell you about Peanut Butter & Co and all their different flavors! I love their white chocolate one and the mighty maple tastes like pancakes (in fact I make pancakes with it along with almond flour & egg whites-- SOOOO GOOOOD!) Plus PB&Co is all natural (and so is my other favorite brand Justin's). PB is a…

Mine learned the hard way when she was 3. I was taking care of my neighbor's bird for the winter (sweet older lady) and went over to check on bird one day and took DD with me. Long story short, the bird died. DD & I stared at the little body. I felt like the world's worst neighbor! "Birdie sleeping?" asked DD and that's…

get him a walking harness. Maybe the collar walking thing bugs him (plus the harness is safer for him than collar). If you have a petsmart or petco in your area, call them to find out when the next training course is. I encourage signing up for clicker training too. It would be a great bonding experience for you both.

I think she looks like Marley from Glee (who I think is a total doll <3)

Have a couple here: http://theprimaljunkfoodie.blogspot.com/p/about-author.html but if you don't want to go there, here are the most dramatic ones. 248 lbs, Christmas 2009 170 lbs, Christmas 2010

berries are your friend :) also, apple may be high sugar, but it takes more energy to digest it than it does to chew it :)

set to maintain or lose 1/2 lb per week. Or just do quick add -500 cals to your diary daily without changing anything. I try to put -300, but don't always remember.

why not just make food that's fast before you leave in the morning, or prepare it the night before and warm it up the next day? Bacon, scrambled eggs, leftovers from dinner-- all good options :)

My baby will be 15 weeks this coming Wed. I've been on MFP since 2009. Never stopped tracking. I try to eat clean so my baby can get as much good stuff as possible. I dropped 30 lbs a week after I had her, and put 10 lbs water weight back on. Stuck trying to get back down to pre-preg weight. I eat to hunger and try not to…

I'm 5'6' and started at 248 in 2009. I dropped 10 lbs in 4 weeks and continued to do so the first several months of MFP. I feel that 10 lbs a month (4 weeks) is very reasonable. Especially since all I was doing at that time was trying to eat fewer cals and play wii fit.

If it had a momma, it's likely a protein source!

I agree with whoever said give a compliment, and then politely decline. "It looks amazing, but I'm going to have to pass this time. Thanks!" If questioned further, just say you're trying to watch your sugar intake or something. Honesty is the best policy!

Whole, raw milk or nothing! Okay, goat milk is yummy too, but WHOLE MILK FOR THE WIN!

Eliminate processed foods. Eat whole foods like veggies, some fruit, good protein, and healthy fats. It should help perk you up when you stick with it. If it doesn't have a mama or come from the earth, don't eat it.

I second/third/infinity this! During my last half I broke in a new pair of vibrams and my heels were pretty banged up by mile 10. Bandaids wouldn't even stay on so neosporin was kinda useless. Break in any new gear during training well before the race date!

if it makes them feel good, it's not too low. Every individual is different. Personally I try not to go below 25g carb/daily cuz it messes with my thryoid over time. If you're really very concerned, encourage them to do a carb refeed day where they eat up to 100g carb (but not junk carbs-- good carbs like fruits & veggies,…

2000 cals, and I try to stay under 2400. 5'5", sedentary... cuz I spend most of the day nursing my new baby.

Check out Jeff Galloway's program and see if there's a training group in your area. I completed 2 halfs last summer while pregnant using his run-walk-run method. All I carried with me was my camel back, first aid kit, and a larabar :)

Ice. 0 calories. You can even flavor them. Sometimes your body just wants to chew something.

Chobani and Fage are the brands you want to get that are usually the most commercially available. Personally I like the full fat plain Fage (it's like eating cool whip... except that it's good for you! ha) Just about any flavor you get of Chobani is good too.

Stand on your tip toes. Also you can stand on the edge of a step and force your heels down as far as they will go and then go on tip toe. Repeat slowly. It will also tone your calves.

Dunno where you got those numbers from. The PFB Peanut Butter flavor has 18g protein. Fruit & Nut (my fave) has 17g.

After hearing all the hype over them for a year or so, I finally tried some. They're pretty gross IMO. Pure Foods Bars have similar macros, are made from real food, and taste delicious.

I find it helps flush out excess water retention :)

I live this way, but I believe the Lord placed creatures on this earth to help sustain man, so I eat meat. I believe the Lord would want me to eat a clean diet of things He created (animals, fruit, veggies), and not necessarily one full of man's creations (processed food like bread and such). We also source our meat from a…
