Me as well. I lost 30, gained a couple ponds back and have been going up and down from 197 to 199 for two months. There are various possible reasons for this, but I'm not just sure which one(s) are a contributing factor(s).

I think I may be doing what you describe. I land on the ball of my foot and my toes together. My heel doesn't touch the ground until a second after. Hi there, I don't smoke, but my coworker did and was able to quit by gradually cutting back. He made several attempts and when he did finally kick the habit we had a party to celebrate. Good luck!

Oh my goodness, that sounds so difficult. I have a friend with a similar problem, but from a malfunction of the sphincter that lets food into her stomach. Stressing out too much over food choices will likely cause cancer as well. It is impossible to eliminate all risk factors and by eliminating one risk factor you may introduce another. Sure there are healthier choices, but you can do everything right and still get sick. Do what you need to do to be at peace with yourself…
