I'm in the same boat!

I have seen some people with a warning on their home site saying that they won't accept friend requests from people who practice starvation and will call people on it if they see it.

Wow! You are incredible!

Bumping for future reference

I want my rings to fit comfortably. I can now get them on. Getting them off is a challenge. I'd like to be able to slide them on and off with ease.

I'm 5'6". I started at 220 and am down to 188lb. Got to start logging again so I can get this thing moving.

The consequences of having too little sodium include seizures ( both my Grandmother and my MIL had this happen as a result of extremely low sodium diets coupled with drinking too much water). That said, If you are eating processed foods I doubt you are getting too little sodium. Make sure you are logging correct amounts…

Plan your menus in advance and make sure you keep well stocked with healthy foods.

I run "on my toes". It's more like landing on the ball of my foot. My heal comes down last. If I don't run like that I get shin splints very quickly. I've not had a problem with any tendons, but I can't run very far yet.

Yum, yum, yum!

Piles of stuff. There is so much new food for you to try. Yay for cooking! I love it :)

My daughter Rachel has DS. She is two years old.

I did five sit ups, in a row. Couldn't do any at all about two months ago.

My two year old daughter has A coarctation of the aorta. Thankfully she seems to be growing out of it but her cardiologist is keeping a close watch on her blood pressures.

Tried them. Didn't like them very much. They were very sweet and kind of slimy. Not like pancakes at all. Maybe I did something wrong.

Oh yes, that is a great book. I purée a lot of cooked veggies and mix them into casseroles, suaces, soups and muffins. Squash and sweet potatoes are yummy in muffins. I try really hard to make food that is appealing, but we do end up with food struggles with our middle daughter on a regular basis. She has so many things…

Hi ladies! So glad to find this group :). My name is Sarah and I have a two year old daughter, Rachel, who has Down Syndrome. She is absolutely adorable. I have two older daughters. Katie is 10 and has dyslexia. Hannah is six and has various food issues. We suspect that she has Celiac. I am blessed to have a wonderfully…

I have two kids with very high intelligence. Our oldest also has a learning disability so she has enough of a challenge to keep her busy. Our middle daughter is also 6 years old and sounds very much like your son. Always bouncing around and getting hurt or in trouble. We also had her tested recently with inconclusive…

18 pounds down is great. You are doing fantastic. Your before and after pix are really inspirational.

Condolences regarding your friend. That is tough :(.... Whatever you have gained on the scale, but you will still be down from where you began. Just get back up and keep going forward.

Roasted veggies are yummy! Try to work some raw ones in there a little bit at a time. You might come to like some eventually.

As a parent this is on of the things I really worry about. Thankfully my daughters seem to be naturally thin ( they take after their dad - LOL). We insist that our kids are active and eat well. I have learned to hard way not to listen to the criticism of friends and family or even to "professionals", if I have a gut…

Wow! You are Awesomtastic! I love that you got your kids involved. This is my goal as well :)

Hi there! I started at 220 and am now down to 195ish (not including any gains from Christmas). I've been bouncing up and down around 195 to 197 for a bit and need to get back on track. Adding you right now.

Look for ways to reduce your stress level as well. I was able to lower my cholesterol significantly without changing diet or exercising very much.
-
Wow, gluten free and vegetarian sounds tough! I would suggest split pea soup or veggie chilie.

We are just starting a gluten free trial to see if it helps my daughter and husband with digestive issues. We strongly suspect my daughter has celiac. I say suspect because we haven't got the bloodwork results back yet, but the symptoms are all there. My husband previously tried a grain free diet and experienced a dramatic…
