Beef roast is really the easiest thing to cook. I was totally intimidated by roasts at first, but found some instructions right on the packaging. The Internet isalso a great place to get detailed instructions including videos of how to cook things. Just type "how to cook beef roast" or whatever it is you want to make.

My sister and young daughter have this. We are avoiding all processed foods and refined sugar as well as taking iron and B vitamin supplements.

Mine was feeling gorgeous in the dress I wore to my husband's workplace Christmas party.

I do not cook separate meals. There are five people in our household including two adults and three children. Both my husband and six year old daughter have various food sensitivities including gluten intolerance. I don't have the time or energy to cook separate meals. I also don't have the energy to cater to the whims of…

You are doing really well. Congrats on your progress.

Oh yes, I know what you mean regarding church and food. It can be very tough to stick with healthy eating with so much yummy stuff around. As for how we are coping, our family is going sugar free for the month of December due to health issues. Our young daughter has been quite ill for the past couple of months and is…

Thanks so much everyone. My husband took my progress picture yesterday. I was dreading it thinking that I wouldn't see any change, but was pleasantly surprised.

Hi there! My MIL has all three of the conditions you mentioned. It is a big struggle for her, but she pushes through. Lately she has acquired the cutest dog, who insists she take a walk every day. She reports feeling much better now that she is moving regularly.

To the original poster, since you are a guy it is not as big a deal as if you were a woman. You can shave your hair very close to your head and it won't really show. My brother in law does this and even with his dark hair you really can't tell he has bald patches unless you get up close.

I don't look pregnant anymore!!! I also have lots more energy and my mood is better.

Limit processed food and eating at restaurants. Don't add salt to cooking except for baking and then cut it in half. When using a salt shaker shake the salt into your hand first to ensure you don't put too much on your food.

Engineer as well. DiffEQ was scary, vector calc was fun, our proff threw stuff around the class. We did not get to blow things up in p.chem :(

Hmmm, go out and buy yourself a really sexy piece of lingerie. Hang it up prominently where he can see it and inform him that you will put it on when you have lost X number of pounds or reached whatever size and not before. I expect he will become quite supportive of your efforts when he has some motivation. You will also…

Well, what worked for me was lowering my stress level significantly (I took a year off work). I also completely stopped eating out at any restaurants. I ate anything I wanted including lots of eggs and ice cream. I wasn't actually trying to lower my cholesterol at all, it just happened. My total cholesterol went from 200…

Oh WOW! That is fantastic!

Walk

That is a great idea, but it has to stay in the fridge or it will go all soft. My dear husband is in charge of all sweet stuff and keeps it all hidden away for me.

So, you not only lost weight, you avoided the dreaded freshman 20 lb weight gain tat most people see when they leave home for the first time. Good for you!

Fantastic!

Good for you. You must feel great!
-
Woo Hoo!!!
-
Great work! The picture of you in your old shirt is amazing.

Same thing happened to me when I first went below 200. I'm still struggling to hold on now that I'm back down to 197 lb. It is time to set a new mini goal to keep focused and keep losing.

Start with walking every day as soon as you can. Even after six weeks post pardum you may experience discomfort if you jump right into a high intensity workout routine, especially if you have a lot of stitches. You can work out, but it may slow down healing down there. Depending on your fitness level 30 day shred seems…
