Plant-strong here and always looking for a kick in the pants to keep me on track!

You're welcome to peek at my diary, I'm trying to track more actively. I eat a plant-strong diet, lots of roasted veggies (tossed in basalmic and olive oil) and beans. I find TONS of ideas on Pinterest!!

I get so bored with the same old meals.... always looking for new ideas! Feel free to friend me, I could use the support, creativity in cooking, and accountability! :o)

Sounds fantastic! The texture of cottage cheese is funky to me, think ricotta would work ok?

Looks delish!

I'm determined to feel self-confident enough to rock the Slave Leia costume at a Con down here. I totally get the motivation.... Best of luck to you!! I'm in the same boat.... I keep jumping back on the MFP wagon and I'm determined to hold on tightly this time!

That's a GREAT idea! I'm going to borrow that if you don't mind. I think the visual reminder would be a great motivational tool. Thanks!!

I think that's a GREAT outlook! I'm not looking for skinny, I'm looking for HEALTHY. I'm quite fond of my curves, I just want to be fit enough to keep up with my son feel great. I can look good at any size :o)

Welcome back!!

You can CERTAINLY see the difference! Congratulations on 7 lbs down! As for your "friend".... a friend is someone who wants the absolute best for you and will support you 110% in working toward a goal to better yourself. If she wasn't willing to stand by you on your journey, she may not have been the friend you thought,…

Best of luck to you!! Feel free to add me as well :o)

Congratulations to you on making the first step! Take it one day at a time, one meal at a time..... We're all here cheering for you!!

One cupcake won't hurt (which would be nice if I could just stop at one.... )

Absolutely amazing! You look FABULOUS! (Love your wedding, by the way!)

I haven't told the world about weight loss specifically, I don't want to look obsessed with a simple number. I've let it be known that I want to make healthy choices for my overall well being and as an example to my son. I always offer to bring healthy dishes and desserts to get-togethers to get everyone on the band wagon,…

Has uh-mazing hair!

Are you tracking your measurements as well? Sometimes the scale can be tricky, if you're gaining muscle mass you could be slimming down more than the scale will lead you to believe. Focus more on how your clothes fit and how you feel vs the evil scale.

I'm right there with you..... 40lbs down a few years back and a few have crept back on. I'm tired of the yo-yo cycle and looking to kick my battle with the bulge for good! Best of luck to you all!

I'd love to see the face that matches that beautiful body!

I love the "break up" idea! I'm so going to try that..... Dear Potato Chips- It's not me, it's you. Certainly the most unhealthy relationship in my life and writing helps me in all aspects. I'm in the same boat, I do great until dinner time then stress wins out and I binge at dinner. Feel free to friend me, I need all the…

I get the plain Fage and add my own fruit or honey.... This way I have control over the sugars. Delish!

Nothing wrong with you, most of us have emotional issues with food- hence our struggles with weight loss. Maybe take away the temptation and not even keep the food in the house? Or find something to do with your hands while you're relaxing and watching tv? Something as simple as knitting or needlepoint will keep your hands…

Are you doing any core strengthening? I know you can't spot reduce, but as soon as I started working on my core through yoga/pilates I noticed a change not only in my waistline, but also in my posture- standing up straight and holding my belly in makes a HUGE difference in how I look and feel. ROCK ON! That's a HUGE drop…

I'm a tad taller (5'8") but I'm shooting for 155. Take into consideration your age and build- I've weighed less back in my college days, but I don't have the same body as I did back then.... These curves brought a healthy baby boy into this world so I'm embracing them. Maybe focus on a size of clothing vs the numbers on a…

**pom poms waving** You can DO IT!!!!

I'm been using a GF diet for the last 6 weeks to help curb my son's ADHD symptoms, and I've been doing the diet along with him (both for support and ease in the kitchen). I notice a BIG change in my energy level. It's a little more expensive, but we haven't found anything we couldn't sub GF, it just takes a little hunting…

Seems like sugar is a bit of an addiction for me.... It's a vicious cycle. You crave it, you give into the craving and as soon as the "high" is over you bottom out and crave it even more fiercely. It's a balancing act to keep your blood sugar steady throughout the day to avoid those binges. Healthy sugars are the key for…

Embrace those curves, girl!! I'm with you, I don't want to be skinny~ just healthy. Best of luck to you!!

Unbelievable!! You look STUNNING! Congrats on all the hard work and thank you for being an inspiration to us all...

It's just my 6 year old son and I, I drop about $150 every other week, with a smaller run on the off week for milk and such. I find that planning my meals ahead of time does save time and money, although I still find myself grabbing pizza on soccer nights.... Oy, some habits are tough to break.
