Disproportionate?

I am just a little more then half way to my first BIG goal and have dropped all the way down to a size 16 jeans (from a 26/28) but I am still in a 2x shirt even though I have lost inches and of course I still have my bewbies....anyone else feel kind of disproportionate? I am working pretty hard here so...I am hoping that it all evens out eventually since I literally have lost my *kitten* here! Is there any hope? :)

Ohh sweetie, you're doing great. Your body is just plugging along and since you can't spot reduce, we have to take the fat loss as we go. For me, I used to carry most of my weight in my lower body and the midsection was the first place I'd lose. Now, I'm losing pretty good in my butt and legs but my gut is ridiculous (but Zumba helps!)

Hang in there. Friend if you want. Just don't stop doing what you're doing because obvs it's working!

It all boils down to your individual shape. Some women lose all their boobage, some wish they could lose more. Unfortunately for you, if the girls refuse to budge, your only option for evening things out will be a breast reduction. I lean a bit more to the other side - carrying more weight on my hips and thighs while slimming down up top first. Hopefully as you get closer to your goal you will lose more from where you want. Congrats on your loss so far, very impressive!

I agree...I've lost about 2.5 inches in my neck and about 6-7 inches from my chest (under the bewbs), but my waist is still MAJOR. I carry all my fat in my belly, it seems, and that is just not going anywhere. Sniff. But holy hells, girl. From a 26/28 to a 16?! BOGGLE! You rule. Totally awesome.

I definitely carry more in my gut, arms and boobs! OH god and my back....So I am hoping that I even out! I was very straight before (as in my boobs matched my gut matched my hips) so now to have a strange muffin top kind of thing going on if kind of frustrating....I know I can't spot reduce but it has given me though to change my routine with less walking and 30 day shred and more something else....not to spot reduce but to just work different parts of my body...oh vey! :) Thanks guys!!

I started out that way. I wasn't complaining though because I loved the size of my boobs (vain I know but oh well!:blushing: ) I started doing more strength training and focusing on my upper half more..which is why I have gone down a cup size.. It's a bummer but I think it matches my body better now:)

I'm the opposite of you, my waist is being very slow to the party. I've only dropped two pants sizes so far. I imagine everything will catch up at some point so I'll keep moving forward.

Congrats on your success so far, you've been doing spectacular lately!

    Thanks EsJay!! :)

I don't care if I lose my boobs..I want my gut gone! :) My chest will always be on the bigger side, I just don't want my gut out in front first! LOL! Right now that's the way it be! :) LOL!

Are you doing any core strengthening? I know you can't spot reduce, but as soon as I started working on my core through yoga/pilates I noticed a change not only in my waistline, but also in my posture- standing up straight and holding my belly in makes a HUGE difference in how I look and feel.

ROCK ON! That's a HUGE drop in sizes and you should be incredibly proud! Keep it up!
