  • I know the weather is insane! But it's been chilly the last couple of days here in Western NC. perfect soup weather :) I'm almost done with this first batch, ready to make more! lol
  • ahh, you guys are awesome! Thanks so much. I made it for the first time tonight.. turned out really good. I'm very glad I tried it. Thanks for all the suggestions! :)
  • Ahhh! I feel the same way about Kesha. I've never listened to a full song because as soon as I hear her voice I HAVE to change the station. It's terrible. And watching her on TV or award shows... is like watching a zombie in a train wreck. I just don't get the fascination with her, at all.
  • Thanks!! Both of those suggestions were really helpful! Especially since I bought with the intentions of replacing rice here and there. Appreciate it! :D
  • I had a 03 Ford Focus station wagon before my car accident in May... and I LOVED that thing. Car gas mileage, lots of space for my photography equipment. I was pretty upset it got totaled! Now I have an 05 Eddie Bauer Explorer. It's in great shape and isn't as bad on gas as I was anticipating. Big change from a lil station…
  • I'm not a fan of cottage cheese either! But I like ricotta lol
  • I've had migraines for as long as I can remember. Before I started eating organic & cutting out most of my processed foods, I was getting migraines at LEAST twice a week. Ever since I switched to organic and cut out my trigger foods (Caffeine, too much of either Yellow 5 and Red 40 food dyes, artificial sweeteners such as…
  • amazing pictures & story! I hope I can do as well as you have done. Congrats on your success :)
  • Lots of water before each meal and I take a cinnamon/ chromium supplement. It says to take it twice a day, but when I took it twice, I wouldn't be hungry at all for most of the day. So I take it during dinner. (night time cravings are my personal evil.) It helps alot and in addition its a great supplement for diabetics or…
  • I'm also in physical therapy 2-3 times a week for a shoulder & neck injury I got in a bad car accident in May. I do ALOT of stretch band and weight exercises in therapy. Outside of therapy I try to do as much as I can without hurting myself. I go on long walks, I try to go for an hour but that depends on how my neck and…
  • Ahh! I'm a huge midnight snacker too. It's the only time of the day I actually CRAVE anything sweet or crunchy! I won't deprive myself but I stick to stuff like a piece of dark chocolate, I make homemade skinny caramel macchiatos or tea, celery sticks or brown rice cake with some pb, carrot sticks with some homemade sweet…
  • I've had the same issue with family & friends. sometimes actions speak louder than words. Don't try to convince them. The more you push, the more they will push back. When they SEE your change & weight loss and how good you look & feel, some of them will want to get on board. That's how I got my best friend to start…
  • I'm 5'2 and trying to lose 40-60lbs.. Please add me :)
  • Amazing photos!!! I can't wait til I get to the point I can go back and see the big change. Congrats on your success :)
  • Oh man. that sucks! I don't let people argue or tell me important things via text. I will pretend I didn't get it! My sister in law is notorious for being a B word for no reason and then trying to apologize with storybook long texts. After the 2nd time.. I no longer feed into it. People these days are so socially dependent…
  • 1. Spheksophobia- fear of wasps & yellow jackets. I'm TERRIFIED. I'm 31 and never been stung but both parents are severely allergic.. and seeing a reaction as a kid was enough to spawn this fear! I've had several anxiety attacks over these lil creatures! I don't let this keep from spending ALOT of time outside, but I will…
