For myself and a lot of people I know that have cut down on belly fat found that it's sugar. So many things these days a packed with it and for myself the sugar goes straight to my belly and sits there. I'd just recommend watching what you eat cutting back on sugary foods and keeping up regular exercising with ab work…

I'd listen to your trainer as they usually are doing a personal assessment not a general one. But carbs really aren't as bad as what everyone thinks. Yes, there are carbs in veggies but I think what your trainer means is don't eat a big meal of pasta, or lots of bread, potato with dinner. I personally try to limit mine…

I love BodyPump on a good week I'll do the class three times. I'd burn between 300 - 500 cal in each class depending on how I'm feeling that day and what I set my weights as. The good thing about it is they have small breaks in between the tracks where you can add or take off weight depending on how you're traveling during…

First is probably face and then for me it's been pretty even from everywhere. Now I'm closing in on the finishing line to my goal weight I'm pretty happy with everything except for my belly still has a little work to go.

Cows milk has more protein. I drink Almond and soy because I have become lactose intolerant. I find almond milk has less calories and I put it in shakes and have with cereal. But if I'm going to have a coffee I use soy milk and if i want a creamy porridge I have soy in that as well. Think it's all personal taste but if…

Yeah I agree with this as well. Mix it up a little do weights one day and cardio the next. I do a lot of classes at the gym like Body Step, Body Attack and Body Pump normally they have a lot of squats and lunges in the work out which is great. Although I also do weights out in the gym with my PT. I'm pretty happy with my…

If you are hungry and getting the shakes clearly your body isn't getting what it needs to function. Have a nice big glass of water and as someone suggested a piece of fruit and some protein. I always look at it that even if you go over your calories as long as you have made good food choices it won't affect you to much. I…

I sometimes do combat at my gym as they offer the Les Mills classes. It takes you a few classes to really get into it as there are so many different moves and sequences to learn. I used to really enjoy it when I used to do it regularly but I find the instructor really makes a difference I can burn about 600 cal with one…

Rye Mountain bread wraps, cruskits and if you decide to buy bread by a dark rye i find this fills you up and you only need one slice. I find putting them on a lower or higher shelf in the pantry so when you open it you aren't drawn to it because it is right in your face.

Great Job!! I'm actually in the same boat as you are I went from an AUS 16 and now a AUS 10 - 12. So my wardrobe is a range of sizes a lot of my favorite things look like I'm wearing a tent. Have you looked into getting some of your things taken in? I'm going to do that with some of my dresses and skirts that i really…

I've read of a few circumstances where people have said they never realised they were gluten intolerant until they cut it from their diet for a week or two. This happened to my best friend she noticed that she wasn't bloating or get cramps then when she went to the Dr they also explained a whole lot of different symptoms…

The most important thing to do is look at what you're eating and make sure it is balanced (whole grain carbs, good fats, natural sugars, high in protein and lots if vegetables) Can't see your diary to really help out but depending on what is making the fat and sugar levels high depends on if you should really worry much…

I agree with this. The fact you didn't have breakfast was probably the thing that triggered this. I personally find that if I don't start my day with a good breakfast the rest of the day is all over the place. I've been told that drinking a glass of lemon juice with room temp water is the best way to start your day and can…

A lot of things i have read talk about cutting the drinks all together as they slow down metabolism, dehydrate you and not good for muscle development. I used to drink every weekend when i was younger but as I got older it became less and less. Now it is just casually if I go out with the girls or to dinner. At the moment…

Cows milk is supposed to be the highest in protein etc but if you're looking for low cal I'd probably go with unsweetened almond milk. I read an article on my gym's website about this the other week:…

One thing I have learnt from loosing weight is there are so many people out there that have such little self esteem that they need to feel better than someone to make themselves feel good. A quote that I always think of is "Girls compete with one and other, Woman empower one and other." Keep pushing on because at the end…

I've been doing Les Mills Body Balance the last few months and noticed a huge difference in my core strength, balance and flexibility. It's a mixture of Yoga, Pilates and Thai Chi. I always leave the class feeling amazing. There is more info here if you want to know more about it but i really think it is a great class…

My gym offers a range of classes the most popular of them being Les Mills classes my favourites would have to be Body Attack and Body Pump. I think the best thing about them is the levels there are so many options and you work at your own level depending on your fitness. I remember first starting out thinking I was going…

Asics are good... I have the kayanos and love them. It's all about having outrages coloured shoes at my gym and they seem to have them in some cool colours aswell. I have had Nike Free Runs but recently stopped using them and went back to my kayanos because I fell off my step at the gym and twisted my ankle. I just feel…

I've just started to up the amount of times i do weights a week. I normally only do Les Mills Body Pump three times a week. I was just wondering is this enough and how much should you be doing? I also do cardio on the alternative days doing Body Attack, Body Step and Body Balance. I'm kinda to scared to go out into the gym…

I found one once that used cottage cheese and rye mountain bread instead of normal cheese and pasta. I suppose you could just pack it full of what ever veggies you want sweet potato, zucchini, eggplant, spinach and capsicum. Then if you waned a tomato based sauce in between just get a can of crushed tomato. I always try to…

Found this recipe on a blog Ricotta Cheesecake Bites Ingredients: 250g ricotta cheese (skim/low-fat) 1 egg 1tsp Stevia 1tsp cinnamon Method: Preheat oven to 180C. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until a smooth batter forms. Divide the batter into half of a 12-portion cupcake tin – greased (or alternatively you can use…

Got really sick with gastro and lost a few kgs in a week and wanted to keep them off. A week later I had a drunk D&M with my brother who just started using this site and just faced up to the real issue why I was overweight. Bad habits and no commitment to really wanting to change anything. Yeah you can go around saying i…

can't see your diary so don't really know. There could be a number of reasons not drinking enough water, not eating enough protein or good carbs. The body can't tell the difference between being hungry or being thirsty try having a glass of water every time your hungry give it 30min or more if you are still hungry eat…

Just from a quick glance at your food diary my advice is. Think about what you are putting into your body 1200 of sugar, sodium and saturated fats VS 1200 of fruit, vegetables, lean proteins and treats on the odd occasion which is going to be better in the long run? Also pay real close attention to portion sizes and make…

Alot of people have this issue and I am also one of them sugar is so addictive and pretty much the biggest reason why so many people don't loose weight. I found the thing that best worked for me was after lunch I would have ONE piece of 85% chocolate it's rich so you don't really crave more but also because it has the…

Just try to eat healthy for the rest of the day do some exercise and do better tomorrow. It shouldn't be a huge issue unless you are doing it all the time.

Don't think ohh 1200 calories I'll just eat what ever I like and just stick under that. Fruit, Veggies and lean protein whole grains and watch your portion sizes. You can eat everything in moderation but just make sure you're having the portion size. Especially in the world we live in today where everything is super sized.

Yes sorry that is what I meant. I'd have a 100g chicken breast with my dinner or 50g tin of tuna for a snack.
