Calcium. As a young woman, it's vitally important you are getting enough calcium now and throughout your life to keep your bones healthy.

I see my doctor next week for a physical. I plan on asking about a colonoscopy. 3 out of 4 of my grandparents had colon cancer, my mom has colitis, and my cousin has Crohn's disease. I am 50. I don't know if all that puts me at a higher risk, but I don't really want to chance it.

Pfft. If it were possible to be tired of food, I wouldn't be in the shape I'm in... I like food. A lot.

Sounds like maybe you need to concentrate on healthy eating, toning, and fitness rather than weight loss. Why were you trying to lose?
-
Yep, plenty to celebrate! Good work!
-
Yup, just fine. Drink plenty of water, it'll wash right on through with out any problem. Feeling bloated? Drink more water.

I struggle with getting enough iron, too. I have an annual physical next week and I'm going to ask my doctor to check my iron level. If i need to, I'll take a supplement, but if it's okay I won't worry about it any more.

You profile is set to friends only. Do you want to add a bunch of people for this or make it public for a day or two?

I have chosen to not eat a low carb diet because it works for me.

This. 100%

Get a referral from your regular doctor, the surgeon you met with, or the hospital. Talk to your insurance company, they may know of docs in your area who accept your insurance, or may be willing to send the check to you to pay for the surgery.

Low carb diets leave me hungry, anxious, and grumpy. But, I try to avoid simple carbs as much as I can. I prefer whole grain carbs, veggies and fruits. I eat over 200 grams of carbs a day, almost all of them complex carbs. Then I feel good, not hungry, and in a much better frame of mind. I think everyone just needs to find…

Okay, I'll be the first to say it. You are probably not eating enough. And are you eating back your exercise calories? Have you calculated what My Fitness Pal suggests as far as calories per day? For the last 10 pounds or so, calculate it based on a one pound a week loss. Activity level should be excluding exercise (you…

The only person you can change is yourself. If her never ever changes, will you still love him?

I haven't been here long and have no idea if I have been deleted by anyone. And if I have, it doesn't bother me. I confess I have deleted two people so far. One, I felt the motives were more self/product promotion rather than a sincere interest in learning a new way of life and getting healthy for the long run. The other…

Adding salt to taste in home cooking is not going to be a problem. Salt in prepared/packaged foods is a different matter entirely, but unless you have a medical condition requiring you to consume less sodium, even the amount in prepared foods can be dealt with by drinking enough water.

5 to 8 cups of water a day may not be enough, depending on your size. One recommendation is to divide your weight in pounds by two, and that's the minimum number of ounces of water you should be drinking. High fiber foods (whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies, legumes), probiotics (yoghurt, kefir etc), exercise, and…

I agree with cacrat. Completely.

If it's an occasional thing because of how you day goes and you stay within your calories for the day, no big deal. For me, personally, I feel better and eat less if I eat more often, but sometimes life gets in the way.

Don't worry about your schedule, just record everything you eat from midnight to midnight seems like it would be the simplest.

Your ticker on you profile shows that you are losing weight and are trying to lose more, one reason for my concern the concern. Best wishes to you

How tall are you? How much do you weigh? What is your goal weight? How many calories a day are you eating? What kinds of foods are you eating? How much water are you drinking? Honestly, you look dangerously thin in your photos. Does the GI doctor you met with know of your history with eating disorders? I am concerned.

Yes.

Welcome back. No need to apologize.

There is an app for that. Seriously. It has all the nutritional info for all the food choices at all the Disney parks. Search for Disney dining in your app store and you'll find a bunch of choices.

I was confused, too. Here's a succinct description. Google it, there is a lot of info, but this sums it up well for me. http://eatingcleanworks.com/what-is-eating-clean.html
