  • I put this in the wrong forum. My apologies.
  • Squishy is part of it. I like to think of it as me not being at full (fat) capacity. LOL
  • Funny you say that. I have been a life long meat eater. I love meat. There's actually something gratifying about eating it and nothing anyone said, until I read a book recently, would change that. They explained things that made me disgusted with myself. I grew up on a farm and hunted as a kid. I never cared about the…
  • Keep in mind that BMI does not take body type or muscle mass into consideration. I'll never hit where my BMI says I should be unless I lose muscle mass.

  • It depends on what you want to do. If you're wanting to build up muscle, you need equipment. If you want to lose weight and just tone up, you can do that at home completely free. I love this site.... http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html. Not only does it list the muscles and groups, it shows exercises for the gym or…
  • I hate the taste and/or texture of most veggies and fruits. However, I am slowly training myself. Just yesterday I grabbed a raw carrot and did my best to make it my b.... I got half way and the carrot won, but I tried. Knowing what to expect, I try again another day. I've already "re-trained" my pallet to take on oranges,…
  • Every morning, I take the following: Men's One-A-Day vitamin Calcium Vitamin D Super B Complex B12 (because its not in the Super B Complex) Fish Oil with Omega 3 and 6 I know I'm over doing it, but with my work and such, I have a hard time hitting certain vitamin goals. The B vitamins get flushed out if not needed, so I'll…
  • It's only around 7-14 calories depending on the amount, but good luck with trying to use that to get out of it. I give you an A for effort. LOL I have this as an app on my iPhone and I tried searching using varying terminology and couldn't find intercourse on there anywhere. I thought it was odd as it is a natural thing.…
  • I also discount sugars as long as they are coming from natural sources. Fruits and honey are naturally sweet, so I pay them no mind and do sometimes go over. What I really try to avoid is refined sugars. On the carbs, I get as close as I can and try to keep it as close to good carbs as possible.
  • It's very possible to do it without surgery. For example, when I went into the Marine Corps, I had to go in on a weight waiver. I was 260 lbs at 5' 10.5". Granted, the way I had to march, stand and sit, I ended up 6' 1" when I graduated (I slumped bad), but half way through, I was down to 154 lbs. By the end, I bulked up…
  • I'm new here too, but I can help you with your question about the calories being subtracted from your total when you exercise. The goal is based off of your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) which is what your body needs just for you to live. This is stuff like breathing, digesting, blood flow, cell repair and cell growth. This…
