i eat breakfast every day but only because i have found that if i don't then i am starving by the time dinner rolls around and then i overeat at night. I have found that i am losing weight more when i dont have many carbs for dinner, so i have them at breakfast and lunch and then have protein and veggies at dinner.

i will be there!
-
i could easily down 5000 calories!
-
lol, i like this response...

dont stress about going over on protein. and you really should have at least 1200 calories even if you are trying to lose. I know of 3 people that couldnt lose weight until they ate 1200 or more.

i have this problem and i think it is due to weightlifting since it happens the night or day after a really rough workout. also it is worse for me now that i am within a couple pounds of what it seems my ideal weight is.

omg, this is me! i can get to 1000 calories easily with cereal and milk. i just dont start cause then i wont stop. its like cake to me.
-
yep, i agree. maybe if you make your own granola it is better, but there is a lot of sugar in all cereals ive seen. Go with real food, not boxed if you want healthy. i avoid cereal because i can't stop at one bowl since the sugar makes me hungrier for more.
-
i dont agree only because i lost the most fat ever when i was ONLY weight training for 5 years. I recently added in cardio just for my heart.

try coco pops multigrain cakes if you like popcorn. and no it isnt that bad but try to get some protein in there!

1 cup of plain greek yogurt, 1/2 cup of milk, and 1 packet of ranch dressing mix blended all together. I use this one for my husband, but i use guac or hummus on my salads now.

i toss my yolks sometimes, but if i want quicker egg whites i buy cartons of all egg whites from aldis and they are ONLY egg whites (no other unpronounceable ingredients), so that keeps from wasting if thats what you are worried about. Also, i do eat egg yolks, but i eat the egg whites when i want not a lot of calories but…

ive had the problem too, even when my stomach is OBVIOUSLY full, i still feel hungry. something to do with satiety hormones ive read so you do have to be careful with over eating at this time, but you do want to eat something after exercise.

the sodium and bread is what does this to me...its difficult to avoid salt!

just wondering what signs showed that his kidneys were damaged? need to know what to look for.
-
yes, it really works if you can follow it.
-
yep, thats what it comes down to. it just helped my husband because he has no self control when hes hungry and the stuff made him not hungry ever, lol.
-
it worked great for my husband since he lost 50 lbs. using it, but he also lost some muscle too. and you have to be careful to still eat often enough and exercise while on it or you will slow your metabolism down a lot and then when you stop taking it, your metabolism will be slower, adding to weight gain if you eat…

yes, i make recipies in cases like this. or meals.
-
luckily i can say that my hubby finishes projects that he starts, but putting dishes into the dishwasher would be nice ;-)

i would like something for my cbr or a trip somewhere for the weekend, but that probably isnt what im getting :-(

Try to eliminate breads for a week and see how that works instead of fasting. I lost the most weight when i ate NO bread, crackers, chips, or sweets that aren't fruit. i was still eating the same calories each day, but something about eliminating those "empty" carbs did it for me.
-
i definetly did BUT only when I was not lifting as much weight at the gym-i was instead doing more cardio. But, i am a 5 foot tall small framed female and i ate back my calories from exercise so was actually eating around 1400-1500. I lost 10 lbs. though doing it.
-
i think this happens with more frequent meals-at least it does in my case. but also it happens to me when i dont get enough fats. if i have a nice amount of peanut butter (2tbsp.) on something it usually works better for me.

i have a CBR motorcycle and a Rabbit car. the bike is a 250 and the car is a 2.5, explaining the number.
-
until recently, i burned all of my extra calories doing strength training alone, and it works rather well. so although the numbers may not be accurate, I think it is perfectly fine to log weight training as a calorie burning exercise.
-
I have lost without worrying about macros but seem to lose more efficiently if i do watch the carbs column only.
-
lol, thanks for the laughs. this thread is funny.

lift enough that u can barely finish 3 sets of 10.
