try lowering your carb macros and upping protein to replace it. and search out meats with low sodium too. I get plainville no salt added turkey and i add other spices to it that are salt free.

homeade protein pancakes, light nutrigrain eggos, or light thomas's english muffins with added fiber... usually with peanut butter. and usually i have 1egg and 1 egg white also.

I like everything the op listed. i don't like anything "veggie" that is supposed to be made out of meat like burgers. Also, beets, saurkraut, and red/green/yellow peppers. but thats about it.

my mom believes this also. i think it may be too old school because eating my calories back has actually helped me lose weight. i am not sure why this happens but it does. when i would not "eat back" my calories i wasnt losing weight. just maintaining it or gaining it if i didnt exercise enough.

my opinion is that it is due to their metabolism. some people have a higher one-whether it is due to muscle or genetics-but you can increase your metabolism by weight training. 2 times for legs, 1 for everything else unless i have already done everything else for the week-then i go to the beginning of the list again. this is because i am focusing on burning some fat and doing legs gets it done!

agreed, but theres no way to know how much you are using...so it wont hurt to eat more of it and less of the other things. I didnt have muscle like this until I upped my protein levels. didnt change my workout routine at all so i guess i wasnt taking in enough before. but how would i know?

i agree. fake sugar HAS been proven to be bad for you and has been shown to cause cancer in rats. (they are more like humans than anyone wants to belive...trust me I do research for a living)

this has been happening to me since i have made my breakfasts smaller. it may seem easier to do this but it throws off the rest of the day and makes the hunger build up. I think this just means that you are not giving yourself enough calories in the morning so your body is trying to catch up later in the day. just my…

i lift heavy whenever i feel like it. if something doesnt hurt and feels well rested, thats what i lift on that day. sometimes it ends up being every day.

you can look at mine. I am supposed to be around 1200 but i go to the gym almost every day so i usually take in a lot more than that. if you look at my meals though, since i eat 5-6 a day, you could still take some of them and put them into your plan. Mostly look at my recipies which are very low calorie and high protein.

i try to eat less salt, but its difficult. you can look at my diary but today is a bad example since i had a lot of luch meat. usually im closer to my goal but processed meats make it very difficult.

with a higher level of protein calories. even if you go over you calories, it should be because of protein.

It isnt a myth if you are trying to build muscle, just if you think it will help you lose weight faster. the eating more often thing works wonderfully for me :-)

You have to be able to say no if it is something you honestly do not want to eat. YOU SHOULD NEVER EAT WHAT YOU DONT WANT TO MAKE OTHERS HAPPY! trust me, this only makes you unhappy afterwards.
