no metal on the dish. it was only the veggies.

it gets better! once you start running, stick with it and you will see that it helps your asthma since you are strengthening your lungs. I had horrible asthma but after i fought through the initial difficulty of breathing while running, it got easier not only when i run but all of the time! i suggest starting out slowly…

and squash and carrot fries!

Yes i agree with this. I can't afford to go to the doctors very often but i have found that they dont help anyway. i went to one for my knee and he told me i should never run or do squats or lunges again. Ha ha. right. I strengthened my leg muscles and can tell i am getting better already. it just takes some time.

there is no reason to NOT lift heavy weights when you are a girl. You won't get huge unless you take steroids. Sorry but the guys are right and I also suggest that on here too! And, btw I weigh 105 and when i do leg press i press 210 (just as an example). But I also eat a lot of protein. I am not huge.

try my chicken salad or tuna salad. its yummy!
-
Yes, bacon or nuts are my condiments. or sometimes tuna also.
-
egg whites, lean meat-try plainville turkey, greek yogurt, nuts (healthy fat), quinoa.
-
do you just soak the cucumber in the water? i want to try this!
-
usually about 8 oz. of water. i never seem to need it. but a lot of tea so i think that counts :-)
-
ha ha!
-
yes, this works very well for me too. i love my headphones!
-
lol, ya i never leave my spot.
-
i would suggest you throw in some other strength training exercises along with the powerwalking an yoga.
-
All of these things you mentioned helped me to lose some fat, however heavy weight leg lifting helped a LOT more. Also, sometimes after my MMA condtioning class (possibly similar to your boot camp), i would have water retained in my legs, making them temporarilly look larger. I have heard that this is due to the fluids…

what?!? I burn most of my calories strenght training. your are not even close to being correct.
-
i drop it only at night when i don't need energy and thats working really well for me. dont need to drop it all day though unless its taking you over your calories. and i eat whole grain wheat too.
-
thank you! i may look into this for the race instead of a bulky brace!
-
I am thinking that may be what it is so may need another opinion but wont get surgery on it until its unbearable since it doesn't hurt as bad during every day use. Just when i strain it a lot.
-
Yes it is one of the only machines we dont have at our gym. thanks though!
-
I do a LOT of resistance training and it is helping. I do all the exercises you mentioned and it has made a great deal of difference. mostly worried about the race since running again irritates it. i may need to try glucosamine because ive heard a lot of good about it. I am just determined to do the mud race since it is so…
-
what is that?
-
yes, the strength training is definetly helping a lot. Its just not going away completely thats all.
-
I was debating on getting a brace for the race but wasnt sure since it is under my kneecap if it would help. Thanks for the unput!
-
yes, i have been jumping rope a bit but that also seems to hurt it after a while. what do you mean by metabolic workouts? I try to not take breaks during my workout (i take about 10 seconds in between each set)-is that what you mean?

Cholesterol, trans fat, and saturated fat have the potential to clog your arteries. Cheese contains this so TOO MUCH of it can clog some people's arteries. I ate a lot of red meat and a lot of cheese and had high cholesterol in my early 20's. I Cut out SOME of the red meat cheese and suddenly my stats were back to normal.…

I think she is probably trying to stay under her calorie goal though and it is difficult to do with full fat cheese and bacon. And no it is not unhealthy for everyone but it definetly fills up your calories in a hurry. If i used it every day i would have to skip a meal.
-
but then again there's no reason for her not to :-)
