just stare in his direction and try look right through his head with the most blank look on your face and pretend there is food stuck in your teeth so your mouth keeps making weird movements and possibly sounds... i think that would get him to stop talking. or ask you what you are doing... its hard to measure every inch of your body. if youve really been doing good weights work then you probably did add some inches. muscles need water so it probably stored some water or something or other. dont worry about it.. unless that is your only pair of jeans.

when you've reached your calorie/food eating goal. take your plate and put it in the kitchen sink. or chuck a dirty napkin on your plate or something like that. *edited to add - as long as your not going over your macros. then just enjoy the food. remember its got to be sustainable.

try to avoid added sugars. like sugar you add into your coffee, sugars in cakes, sugars where there arent naturally supposed to be sugars.

been watching what i eat for the past few months and waking up at 5:15am and then proceeding to do some exercise whether it be insanity, brisk walking, jogging, jump rope, etc.). i must say. i feel pretty awesome about that. haha.

if i had the space and equipment. definately prefer home. currently doing insanity at home and thats already a little crowded. haiz....

i walk on my rest days. partially because i wake up at 515am on my exercise days (6 days a week). so as a force of habit, i'm already awake in the morning. dont do any hardcore exercise that day (im doing insanity now), but just brisk walking for about 30-40 mins. i think that helps with recovery.

i put the utensils on the table (im in china so most of the time its chopsticks) so when its on the table thats a lot of surface area that gets dirty theres no picking that back up and using it. or just chuck a tissue on the plate.

as mentioned above pack some healthy snacks to stop the binging at coffee shops or small snack stall thingies at the airport. and when on the plane walk around and do squats or pushups or even do a light jog on the spot. no one will care (unless you plan to do some power jumps or sprint down the aisle or something :P but…

you probably need to up your caloric intake to 1400 and eat back your exercise calories *edit - or eat back your exercise calories on your current 1200. but i think that is still too low. you can try.

not really sure the whole story prior to your cousin's comment, so dont want to end up being offensive or anything. but maybe everytime you hang out you keep talking about health, fitness, whole foods, etc. so then after a while, unless they are also interested, it gets annoying. esp if they also have some weight issues.…

people dont grunt in the gym. they grunt getting out of bed when theres nothing to look forward to or grunt when are forced to do some unwanted errand. in the gym. its not a grunt. its a battle cry.
