That's the first step. The first few weeks will really test you if you are dedicated but what i found really works was I found myself rolling out of bed. Pushed all excuses aside (because my excuses not go is greater than my excuses to go). I get right out the door and drive my butt to the gym.

Find other workouts that won't cause any pain to your foot and ankle...pilates, yoga...simple things that will help you lose weight but not put weight on your foot.

I know, it doesn't make sense at all but try it and you'll be amazed with the results if not all the calories, eat back some.

I drink green tea often. I don't believe it helps what you are having trouble with but I would probably suggest eating a fiber supplement.

Try eating back the cals you burn....sometimes when I am eating a steady diet I have a cheat meal and it helps boost things a long too!

You can't target a certain area..as far as I heard. I heard: Do lots of cardio, cardio, cardio until your BMI is lower than hit it with some abs workout. :) Good luck!

I found body weight and machine...When I am on the elliptical and it comes to the part where I have to paddle backwards, I will go down into a squat position and squat for 30 seconds (kind of look like pulse squats) and go back up for 30 seconds. It burns and I am just using my body weight. :)

Well...if my SIL ever gets married I might be wearing a bridesmaid dress. *sigh* They look amazing because they are incredibly skinny...sooo if I am going to look good in a dress next to them I'll have to exercise my butt off. that is my motivation. :)

Weight loss is a journey. Stick to your diet plan and workout routine and you would soon see it come off. Sometimes, if I worry too much about my weight or my measurements I get frustrated. So I stick to thinking about other things...like I am losing this so I will be fit and healthy....
