  • I have a little baby who is six months and four other kids. I work full time and go to school full time. I wake up at 4:30 to go work out. Be home around 5:30-5:50. Get the kids ready for school, get myself ready for work. I'm at work at 7 am. Full day schedule. I sacrificed sleep to be healthy.

  • we use them in soup or pickle them. :)
  • My current kimchi combination right now is Kimchi and tofu. Toast your tofu in a nonstick pan and then just eat it with your kimchi and if you like dip it into tamari soy sauce. YUM!
  • I'm Asian and so noodles and rice are a major food diet for me. I grew up eating it every meal--breakfast, lunch, dinner...when I started my weight loss diet it was really hard to control the carb intake. When I discovered shirataki noodles it helped me mentally when it came to eating food like pho, red curry noodles,…
  • stay strong on your journey. Keep your goal in focus and you will get there. There are hurdles and obstacles everyone has to pass! You just need to see how much stronger you are.
  • Basically you mix it the night before and refrigerate it for the next day!

  • Have you tried overnight oatmeal? It's not hot. It's cold. I use almond milk vanilla flavored, chia seed, oatmeal as a based and then I toss in fruits (raspberries, caramelized apple slices, peaches, mangoes).

  • What's wrong with an appetite. Cave in for a day if you have to and get back on the bandwagon. Be glad you have your period. Some women looks around corners for theirs.
  • I don't mind it. I stay steady the week before auntie flow and the week of auntie flow then it all comes dropping and surpriseeee I'm at a weight loss I didn't think I would be. I got to admit though it is discouraging looking at the scale while on period. It is hard...but remind yourself of goals and if you indulge just…

  • I weigh in weekly due to weight fluctuation. My TOM is also very regular so when it comes closer to it I gain 5 lbs of weight and I stay like that with out fluctuation until after TOM is done visiting. Otherwise, I say just keep at it and don't be too focused on your weight. As long as you are being healthy you would lose.

  • Welcome back!
  • I'm asian too. I find alternatives...sweet potato. Brown jasmine rice. Quinoa. You don't have to cut carbs out completely. Just eat it moderately in smaller portion.
  • Me tooo! I love mine with almond milk! Easiest breakfast and done in under 5 minutes!
  • If after you eating apples and veggies for a week and you haven't lost weight--I suggest buying a food scale/measurements and start measuring your food to accurately log it. If after doing that you still don't lose weight then yes, you should go back to your doctor.

  • One small hill doesn't determine that you should give up. People will always talk about the things you do but you do what you believe is whats best for you. I ate so much over the weekend. I gained 4 lbs and I'm pretty sure that is because of my sodium intake but hey I didn't let that get to me because I'm jumping right…
  • My diet for a week consist of low carb high protein. I aim for things that are organic (if I have more money in my pocket that week) and gluten free food. I usually have one high carb day (which is normally my cheat day). This helps curve my need for carbs. I eat three meals and snacks in between. I work out 5 days a week.…
  • Stop thinking of the reasons why you shouldn't...but the reasons why you should. You need to stay positive and keep your goal in mind to stay motivated. There are so many reasons why we shouldn't...it's just easier! But you need to stay determine. When I do cardio, every muscle and fat in my wants to give up by my HEART…
