71, up from 69,, where we had it last year. 68 at night. I don't handle cold in the same way as I did when I was much heavier.

Oh no! The Fitbit is replaceable, but I fear for your beloved friend. Since it's been over 12 hours, please follow up with the vet and have the surgery if needed. Prayers going out for your dog. I completely understand your worry--I own Labs and it's all about "everything in the mouth all the time." If surgery is needed,…

Welcome to MFP! Right off the bat, we have a few things in common. I'm almost 56 years old with lousy knees due to Grade IV arthritis. Both need to be replaced whenever I can wrap my mind around that. Had arthroscopic for a torn meniscus in February, but it probably worsened the arthritis. Anyway, the thing I've done that…

Definitely the reunion over a colleague's wedding. The reunion is also a very acceptable and easy explanation as to why you were the only one not going to the wedding.

You look happy, healthy and content. Your philosophy about "no such thing as good and bad food" is something that I need to do better at remembering for myself. Thanks for your inspiration today, and best wishes for continued success, good health and peace of mind and spirit.

Blueberries and maple syrup

Greek plain nonfat yogurt with 2 T of muesli and some berries.

You are truly inspirational! To have made such a transformation means that you are stronger even than the tremendous weight (wow!) you are lifting

Hi everyone-- I'm a little late to the party, but am so happy to find like-minded folks. I bought my first bike since childhood this spring and i love it. My rides are usually somewhere between 15 and 20 miles, taking it slow and easy. Can't do more right now, trying to delay knee replacements for as long as I can. i don't…

You look gorgeous! What an amazing accomplishment--you are truly an inspiration to others.

Everyday, but I really mix it up: some days biking hills, sometimes flat. I do Zumba, varying intensities of elliptical. Some walking on light days when I need a break.
-
There are no bad days. There are days when we've eaten more and days when we've eaten less. The trick is only to ensure that they are proportional. It's a lifestyle, not a diet.

I used to live there, too, out near Sea World.

I had frozen shoulder about three years ago. (Sorry you have it--it is painful!). The thing that helped me most was physical therapy and adhering rigorously to the home exercises they prescribed. My PT told me that the worst thing was to do nothing. Gentle exercise. I don't see why you would have any problem with things…

I can't take the cold as well. I moved my air conditioner two degrees up from where it was last year.

Absolutely NOT! (Married 33 years)

A most excellent NSV indeed.

Pending two knee replacements, I don't exactly kill it! I use a HRM. At 5'6", 157 lbs, I burn around 420 calories in an hour.
-
This. And I use a HRM to ensure more accurate burns. This morning, alone, MFP overestimated by about 50 calories.
-
I'm starting to do that, since I bought a HRM. I trust the numbers that I see there.

The answer to this question surely must include attention to the medial/physical, behavioral, psychological, economic, and social aspects of obesity, Many physicians are reluctant to prescribe medication for problems which are not officially classifiable as a "disorder" or a "disease." I'm not bashing them for this. If…

This absolutely brought tears to my eyes to think of the two of you working so closely and so lovingly together. I, too, am awaiting double knee replacements. It will have to wait until my hubby retires next year, so that he will be home to help me through the first part of recovery. I couldn't do it on my own. In the…

I am so glad you posted this. I was thinking that I was the only one with a huge waist. My measurements are 38, 34, 40 and I weigh 157 lbs at 5'6". I don't know that I'll ever have a narrow waist even when I get to goal in about 20 lbs from now. Thanks for providing an opportunity for people like me to share.

Oooooo! Love this idea!

It's a really, really lovely dress (and a great sale to boot), but it is quite dressy.

I wanted an accurate number as well. Bought a HRM and was very surprised to see that the MFP estimates are very close, usually within 5% of my HRM reading. I love my HRM.
-
I eat it every day: a half cup of the lower-fat variety. Be sure to watch your portion size and all should be well.
-
You look marvelous. And your dog is a sweetie!

Love, love, love that recumbent! It is wonderful to see a couple obviously so in love. Congrats on all your success so far--I'll bet your doctor is going to be thrilled with your progress.
