After dinner, if I feel like eating something else later, I go and brush my teeth instead and use extra toothpaste. I hate the taste of food after toothpaste, so this turns me off wanting anything else.

Mine's not a mantra, but a visualisation. I close my eyes and picture myself at my ideal weight, happy and proud of myself, with my husband and boys beside me. I focus very closely on this image every night as I go to sleep too.

Yep - protein! and make sure you are taking a good vitamin, calcium and omega3 every day. Your body is possibly storing fat as it thinks you are starving.... Can you have some lean chicken or pork a few times a week? Or eggs?

Absolutely - mostly fluid retention though I think. I don't even bother weighing myself thru that week, it's too deceiving!

I'm a DD and don't want them to get smaller, just wish they'd hold themselves up like they used to LOL!!! Was a D before having my kids, went up to DD through 2nd pregnancy then never went down again.

For lunch I like a wholewheat wrap with lean chicken breast, low-fat cottage cheese and tomatoes, cucumber, etc. Also carrot sticks with light hommus are yummy snacks. I'm new here too - will send you a friend request ;)

Hi - I'm new too! I can totally relate to the soda thing - I used to drink up to 8 cans of Coke a day... horrid withdrawels, but it's so worth it. I used to hate water, but have found I actually like it now so long as it's icy cold. Still hate it at room temp. Try adding a squeeze of lemon too. Anyway - good luck! D.
