Great story, congratulations. My sister started the C25K a few years ago and has since fun 3 marathons. Me, I'm still in the thinking about it stages. Would like to get some more weight off, before I think about it seriously!

I wear makeup and my hair is done when I go to the gym, but that is because I come straight from work. However on the weekend, I get up and go to the gym, looking like a completely different person sans makeup and coiffed hair!

Oh absolutely all the fresh, healthy items are more expensive. Sad that the cheaper affordable things are boxed mack and cheese and rice, etc. My grocery bill has gone up considerable since I've changed my eating habits.

I hit the gym for the 4:30 pm classes, I get off at 4, so this is when it fits my schedule. I start work at 7, so I can't see myself being a morning workout person.

I have to avoid them, one free day will turn into 3 or 4 and then I'm back on the slippery slope.

I absolutely eat my b-day cake. That being said, I have found for me (and its taken YEARS) that the 6th, 7th, 8th bite of whatever doesn't taste as good as the first 3 or so. So I tend to have a few bites and totally enjoy it then stop as opposed to just wolfing down the rest (of whatever I'm eating). Enjoy! Happy Birthday!

I use Trader Joes canned chicken in broth to make my taco soup. 1 cup of the canned chicken 1 cup chicken broth 1 cup black beans 1 cup pinto beans 1 cup salsa I put it in the crock pot, top with cheese and avocado if you desire.

The one gal is ok, I like her routines but she is so quiet that you can't hear her cues above the music, even while wearing a mic. Trader Joes has a season blend mix that I think is called 21 Season Salute or something to that affect (effect??). I can't be 100% sure but I think it's salt free.

I've been doing Zumba since Jan, I love it. I now go twice a week. My teacher says the only rule in her class is to keep moving. She said if you get lost, march or dance in place. After a few times you will get it and it will become a lot of fun. Also the teacher makes a big difference.

I find weekends are hard for me because I'm not on the same schedule as I am during the week when I'm at work. I cook egg muffins on Sundays for me to grab and go for breakfast during the week. I will cook dinner for the week as well (this week its meatloaf) and that will last 2-3 nights. But I'm boring!
