  • Initial Goal Weight 65kg Ultimate Goal Weight 60kg This round GW 68.5kg 01/21 - 69kg - had a takeaway last night and a sedentary day getting admin done so unsurprising. 01/22 - 68.8kg - long walk with the dog yesterday, meant to do some weight training and didn't so might try and squeeze it in today. 01/23 - 68.3kg - I…
  • Already did my update for today but gave in to temptation tonight and bought chips for tea! :s On the plus side I only ate half but I'm expecting the weight to jump up a bit tomorrow. @nikki062181 that's awesome that you spotted something, hope it does the trick for you!

  • @nikki062181 I used to get super frustrated with my weight staying the same. Eventually I noticed a pattern - I basically stay the same for 3.5 weeks, then at the same time in my cycle every month the weight drops, I then stay the same again for 3.5 weeks. Maybe there's a pattern there that you haven't spotted yet? I found…

  • Hi, I would love to join this! I put on about 5kg in the second half of last year so need some accountability to keep on track with getting it off again! I generally lose slowly (0.5kg/month) so it will take a while! Initial Goal Weight 65kg Ultimate Goal Weight 60kg This round GW 68.5kg 01/21 - 69kg - had a takeaway last…
  • Well I didn't log much over the weekend as we were eating out - pub lunch, in - laws, wedding, hotel breakfast etc but made decent choices at all of those places! Back on it today and yesterday which I'm happy with, haven't weighed for a while so that's what I'm planning for tomorrow.…
  • The bike should be fine, if you want to vary your routine the Pilates or Yoga and swimming would also be low impact and increasing strength is always a good place to start with joint problems!
  • Hi! You've been given lots of advice here, all of the suggestions of what it could be could be correct. As a physio who sees a lot of runners it is almost always a strength / muscle firing issue causing 'patellofemoral pain syndrome' (blanket term) however the reasons for having it can be different in different people - eg…
  • I'd be careful with sciatic stretches unless you've seen a physio or similar as it's very easy to irritate. You need to sort out the neural interface first (the structure that is irritating the nerve) - it's quite common that your piriformis muscle can irritate your sciatic nerve - I'd recommend trying glutes and…
  • Personally I like it, gives me a bit more motivation in the evening and as I know I do most of my exercise in the evening I don't worry about what I'm eating (ie I eat to my normal cal level). Just depends what you prefer I guess!
  • Gah forgot the http:// http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/nicolabradley87
  • www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/nicolabradley87 Hope that works! I had to estimate my lunch today as I forgot my packed lunch. It was lasagne in the staff restaurant which was lush but a lot more cals than my chicken salad!! Planning to do a circuit tonight, as well as a dog walk which should sort my steps out for the day!…
  • Hi! I'd like to join please. I lost 7.5kg with mfp and got down to around 63kg last January. Maintained pretty well but over the last 3 months it's crept up (mostly super busy and too much convenience food). So I've come back today weighing 66.8kg. First kg or two should come off fairly quickly then I'll reassess and…
  • Are you in the UK or the US? It could be something as simple as a chronic impingement which won't necessarily show up on scans, it could be a partial tear which would be best assessed with an ultrasound scan. It's unlikely to be a full tear from what you have said but obviously nothing can be ruled out via the internet!! I…
  • Thank you! Will check it out.
  • Also I have already lost weight, that is not my aim with regards to this thread. As I stated in my original post I just want to learn more about LCHF to maybe try it and see if it suits me.
  • I don't think the keto diet is what I'm after - I just want to read more about LCHF in general - from what I've read on the forums I don't believe this has to be keto? I don't want to jump into something without learning more about it!
  • I've already failed too, but was planning on checking in every day anyway if that's OK as it should help to keep me on track for the rest of the month! This was the third of my eating too much days. Exercise - yes - walking the dog Tracking - yes Cals - no - waaay over again today Onwards and upwards, got a meal out to…
  • Exercise - yes - hockey training - 2 hours (I ended up coaching as well which was interesting!) Tracking - yes Cals - over again (part of my 3 days of eating too much - did stay under maintenance on this day though so not terrible!) I love playing sports as my exercise, much more motivating for me than individual stuff.…
