This from CarsonRuns above: "You'll have a better chance of liking it if you find interesting places to run and you slow down so you can enjoy them without feeling like your heart is going to explode through your chest. Slow and easy is the way to go." In addition to C25K, you can try Jeff Galloway.

"If literally millions of people have done this, so can I!"

Jack, I don't mind the longish post. I like seeing people think their way through things. It took me a long time to appreciate your Point #2. Good for you. As for how to make strength training more enjoyable, I have no clue. Good music, good podcasts, do it with a friend, enter some sort of competition...these are the only…

Wow, that really IS the coolest NSV ever! Congratulations on all you've accomplished!

You can do it!

Just a great job, Glenn! And a great way to head into February!

Oh now, LadyB! I'm so sorry to hear about that. I'm know you know this already, but it's much more important to get that things healed to meet a yearly or more long-term goal than to meet a shorter-term one. So first, "Do no harm." Keep us up-to-date!

Glenn, congratulations! That's a great, great way to start 2013! Well done!
