I totally agree with this....In the beginning it is hard....4 months in, it is hard some days but my skills have gotten better. But early on someone sent me a quote that got me through the hard days. "You don’t have to be PERFECT to be SUCCESSFUL!"...So you are a 30 days in...look back over them...have you been successful…

Wendy's is my place to go....spicy chicken w/o mayo and then lose the top bun...cuts about 130cals from the sandwich. They have a nice side salad also (although too many shredded carrots).

If you know where you are going and have their menu available, you can choose ahead of time what you might like to have. Such as 6oz steak, brown rice and grilled veggies. that way you know where you are at for that meal and might be able to have that extra drink or piece of cake. OK with that said it is your birthday and…

the scale is not the 'ultimate' judge in this weight loss journey...I weigh myself everyday. i have been the same weight for about a month but am ready to go down another pants size. So I am holding at a weight but succeeding in other ways.

Depending on the mood I am, is to what I order. But I usually look for a surf and turf. Small steak and grilled shrimp w/ some sort of grilled veggies (always green beans if they have them) Visiting a pub, I like to have a hamburger steak smothered w/ grilled onions...mmmmm.
