Tell him living a little does not mean the same thing to everyone. Thank him for thinking of you but to ask next time and there might be something on the menu you would like.

I used to run and do up to half marathons a few times a year as accountability. I never loved it. The best part of running, was stopping at the end. Felt pretty good for about an hour afterwards about having gotten it in. After some back issues I've ditched running and like to check the Fitbit for steps instead on top of…

Unba!! Keep it up!

What are you talking about? Every comment I've read are positive about this man that just accomplished something amazing for himself.

That is awesome!! I would have hit delete if I saw the photo with the Santa belly and a fistful of snacks. Glad you kept it to share. Great work!

I would guess you are definitely adding muscle offsetting some fat loss. Keep it up and good luck with the marathon.

I'm hoping to join you this week.

Fantastic!! Way to go! Keep it up and keep it off!

Great job my man! I too am motivated to get this done after too many false starts. Down 30 in 2 months driven primarily by problems with my back. I've been walking 10-20k steps every day and am tracking everything. Still allowing myself freedoms to live life an have nights off to be followed by getting back in the saddle…

3 kids, second has severe global developmental disabilities. Non verbal, need to feed, bathe, diapers...

Let's all stop and recognize a moment of silence for those poor filets that found their demise in a crock pot meant for their cheaper friends from the butcher shop.

I'm in. The time after dinner and bedtime is the worst for me.

I used to struggle stringing a log string of days together. I'm approaching 60 now and have had success dropping the pounds by tracking everything and trying to get 10k steps per day. 115k the past 7 days. Stay true to your journal for better or worse and as they day total rises the weight will slowly drop. Keep it up!

Not discouraged really as its good to see the number going down, probably just a bit impatient. Down 28, 17 more to get down to 185.

Focus on the things you can control and positive life changes will come. Keep your chin up! Don't need to jog to lose weight just go out and walk the miles.

Great work! Good luck Hawks from this Wild fan.

You wake up in the am and have burned 700-800 calories I've found. Doesnt mean I should hammer a stack of pancakes and side order of sausage for breakfast. Not saying you did. With fitbit I use it a a challenge to see how much higher than an average sedintary day I can get calorie total. I had an injury this past winter…

Count me in

That's awesome!

Take charge of the things in life you can control and you will begin to feel better!

I feel better when I'm taking control of things in life that I want to change like my health and fitness. Take charge and affect change vs being affected by things that we've let get out of control. It's easier said than done and takes a few days to start noticing little results.

Exactly the same thing for me sometimes!

I love IPA's, good wine and Captain Diet Cokes. Sometimes in the same evening :). Safe to say their calories can be a diet killer for me. More often it's not the calories in the drinks but the insatiable appetite I get the day after. I'm determined to continue the string of successful days logging. I see some people have…

Good chance its the cheat day. Also how you treat a cheat day. I know some that treat it like its their last meal. I don't use a cheat day unless there is an event I don't want to stress about eating steak and potatoes. Even then I try to be sensible.

I went out Friday night for a special occasion. Was able to keep under calories by planning ahead. The day after is the tough part. My body feels the need to fire down some Taco Bell and I have to fight those urges all day.

Love my charge HR. Find myself using the stairs more often and walking whenever I can to get my numbers up.

I think people notice around 10% weight loss for sure but often are not comfortable saying anything for many reasons.
