  • Several times a week I just make a simple grilled piece of meat or fish and I just toss my veggies right onto the grill with it. Last night I even grilled fresh sugar snap peas. All fresh never frozen and very low in salt. Works well on a counter top grill ,if we fire up the grill outside you have to wrap the small stuff…
  • I eat a lot of hummus which you can find prepared in almost every store nowadays. It is super yummy, filling and a quick easy protein based snack and all you need with it is some nice crisp veggies.
  • I think you need to balance your meals more and add lean protein. I would try to up the calories at breakfast to around 300-400, and add a protein to keep you going longer. I also think you might just be over limiting yourself, just up your portion size a little and it will put you right where you need to be.
  • Stick to what you know. They can only add so many calories to eggs, bacon or sausage, and toast. Even the pancakes cannot be to bad in modaration just stay away from the items they add all the junk to. Enjoy and don't stress to much you need to enjoy life too or why are you working so hard.
  • I just discovered steel cut oats last year and I have fallen in love with them. The best part is I make a whole pot on sundays and portion out for the week. Then you can just heat and go. I just follow the package and toss in cinnamon, walnuts, almond extract, splenda brown sugar mix and dried apricots. yummmmmmy!
  • This happens when I take a class. ie kickboxing, spinning ect... I really enjoy them and they only last an hour. I have thought about leaving early but it seems I would lose the benefits.
  • Mojitos made with splenda instead of simple syrup is really good and refreshing. The only calories are the rum. I also have a friend who swears by her vodka tonics.
  • I LOVE PIZZA!! I make my own crust with half unbleached flour and half whole wheat. I just follow the directions on the yeast package. I roll the crust out nice and thin and top it with smashed fire roasted tomatoes (hunts makes them) for my sauce and top with low fat mozzeralla. I like to season the top with pepper,…
  • I love to mix mine with a little olive oil, salt and pepper, fresh basil, and toasted walnuts for protein. Top with a little parmasen cheese and dinner is served. (I like to buy the mashed basil they sell in the produce department, it spreads and coats everything really well.)
  • It means to get the little bit of liquid to what you are cooking. It will help you get the little bits of yummyness off the bottom of the pan you are cooking in.
  • I like to make a simple pasta great for a quick dinner. - Start your penne pasta. - Saute off your choice of fresh veggies. (I like halfed grape tomatos (tossed in after you add the pasta), green beans, olives, a little garlic, and spinach. But anything you like will work.) - Add a can of tuna and heat through. - Season…
