  • You can create your own exercise. I did a custom add for the first time i did each workout (after that they are 'remembered') Then use HRM to log calories burned. Or as JDHCM said
  • Compression tops, either run in them or if you feel self conscious, wear one under your t-shirt i NEVER run without them after a particularly bloody half marathon sore nipple-fest :-(
  • Wait till you get to the Max stuff and you are down doing press-ups and you look up at screen as he is waffling to find that everyone else is taking a water break and he hasn't said anything! And you're arms and shoulders are dying........
  • Just to give you guys some perspective. I took up running about 5 years ago as an 18st overweight guy and used to do 5k in about 33 minutes. Im now under 13st and my last parkrun was clocked at 21 mins so keep on running and keep on losing weight. less weight = speedier running! Good luck

  • cheers for the advice, think im just going to follow for now and see how i go, ive tried upping the intensity now im starting to get to know the programmes, Im feeling the burn a bit more form that. Guess i wasn't working hard enough to start with lol!
  • Thats spot on fella. Interestingly (to me anyway!) you have almost identical results in your first test to me in most categories, yet our power jump & suicides are very different. How bizarre :-)
  • Probably is right per hour, you are doing only, like, 22 mins of pure cardio though, the rest of the vid is stretching n warming up. Im 180lb and burn around 350 for the full 40 mins all in so yeah 1k per hour seems about right i'd say.
  • Im 6ft 2 and 82kg, my garmin varies between 350 & 450 so far. Currently on week 2 hope this helps
  • strange because if you look at ingredients on almond milk, first ingredient is water and next is 2% almond. This suggests that 98% of almond milk is in fact water! So OP using water should be no different to people using almond milk i guess?
  • ive found swapping any fat asked for to apple sauce seems to work (just cook diced apple in a couple tbsps water for 15-20 mins then mash/puree
  • I watched a bit of the circuits that was on 281 yesterday, a big black guy, he had a bit of a stomach on him (!) and was not doing some exercises properly. His squats were appalling!!
  • Dont get caught out thinking that you need minimal clothing as you are going to get warm through the exercise. Layer up, as there is nothing less enjoyable than running out in cold weather and the wind/rain cutting through you! In winter i generally go, base layer (invest in this - you want one that wicks sweat away from…
