I thought I'd like Nutella, but I don't. I'd much rather plain peanut butter or peanut butter with a little bit of chocolate mixed in.

Bump. I'm having the same problem.

I agree 100%! It is very hard to resist the yummy Southern food!!!! WELCOME to MFP by the way!

My bf bought Walk It Out for me for Christmas and I LOVE it!!! I was looking for something that wasn't so complicated or a vigorous workout and this is perfect for me. I was thinking of getting a treadmill after my taxes came through, but ever since I got this game, I don't think I'll need to get a treadmill anymore. This…

I fell in love with SILK's version of egg nog. No fat & just yummyness. I can't eat raw eggs because it grosses me out. Everyone I know that has made egg nog has heated their eggs with the milk to a very high temp where they aren't raw anymore.

You are definitely inspiration/motivation for me! I'm so happy for you for your success! You look beautiful. =]

That's the same reason I watch them! I also cried tears of happiness for the kids when they got excited that they were losing weight on their weigh-in days. I just wanted to jump in my tv & give them a congrats hug!

I would like to lose 20 lbs by Christmas! That would put me at 148 & 28 more lbs to go to reach my goal of 120. =] We can all do this! GOOD LUCK, EVERYONE!:flowerforyou:

THANKS!! This is great.

Oh my gosh! I thought I was the only person who mixes the hot chocolate packets in my coffee!! People at work thought I was crazy. haha I LOVE it! I use non-dairy creamer in my because it makes it more creamy. I don't get that many calories though & I use about 4 spoonfuls of creamer.

Thanks for this recipe!! I can't wait to try it. =]

Oh! I forgot to mention that in my experience, I don't even crave bread/pasta/sweet carbs anymore! And that's saying a lot because PIZZA and TACOS are my FAVORITE FOODS!! haha I just eat veggies and lean meats now. =) If I feel like I want to splurge(for instance I ate pizza this past Sunday), I'll use one day a week to…

It is for people who exercise & for people who don't. Most of the people I talked to BEFORE trying low-carb lifestyle said they never exercised at first. They only started exercising after they lost a bunch of weight because most of them could hardly move around due to being so heavily overweight. I have one of the Atkins…

I don't think anyone should be on a diet for a short period of time at any given point. You're obviously going to gain it all back once you start eating like you normally do(especially if it's bad stuff). Any diet you choose should be something you would want to do for the rest of your life. Not just to lose a couple…

I think as long as whatever you are doing is being successful and if your DOCTOR says you are healthy and nothing is wrong, then keep at it. Unless it is affecting your health, I think that there is no reason to stop doing something you like. If you are eating whatever you want, eating in moderation, low-carbing,…

I tried the Tomato Basil "Mrs. Dash" last night to season my turkey burgers and oh my goodness, they were so yummy!!!
-
I just used it and it works perfectly! I'm so excited now. Thanks again, Kerri!

I agree. I didn't ask for suggestions, but thanks anyways. I'm keeping the one I have and if I want to get a chest strap, it can easily be purchased separately at Academy. =] It doesn't matter if it's close to your chest or your wrist like most people think because I've tested my MIO by placing it on my wrist and on my…

Yes, it does. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I don't know how I skipped over that part and I read the user guide several times. :grumble: I found the user guide online in case the thing about the Chronometer isn't on my user guide at home. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ I.…

Oh, okay. I must have a different book then. I have the "The New Atkins for a New You" book. 2010 Edition. I got it cheap off of ebay for under $10. I'm going to get the 2002 edition soon. I think that's the one you told me about.

I just read some of the new book last night & today and it doesn't say that you can have grains during induction... It says the following is off limits during Induction... Foods made with flour or other grain products including bread, pasta, tortillas, muffins, pastries, cookies, chips, cakes and candy. Nuts and seeds…

Welcome to MFP!! =]

Ah, thanks!

Okay, so do you think if I paid a little more for the eggs I buy, they'd be a little better nutritional wise? There are no local farms where I live, so I can't really go to one and buy them.
-
Okay, so I posted my previous reply before yours was. Ignore it. ha

Yeah, please specify about the eggs. I'm wondering if you're talking about the way they treat & feed the chickens that produce the eggs as in the chickens are unhealthy, then so are the eggs? Eggs are healthy for you. Not sure why you said we should eat less of them. One large egg has 6 grams of easily digestable protein…

Stevia isn't artificial like Splenda, Sweet-n-Low and others. People in China (I believe that's where if I remember) have been using it for decades because it's natural. It's just extracted from plants. It's not processed or carcenogenic like Splenda. Plus, you can't believe EVERY article you read. Every single thing on…

Haha! I can only find the "Extra Spicy", "Tomato Basil" and some lemon flavored one. I don't like the lemon one and I haven't tried the "Tomato Basil" yet, but I want to! I love spicy food, too, so I use it a lot. I've been using Mrs. Dash for 4 years now thanks to my mom. She's a diabetic and shouldn't have a lot of…
