Mines has been my new job - I was furloughed in March last year like a lot of people and then eventually made redundant after 9 years. Now I'm doing something completely different and I love getting to leave the house every day again, to go to work as a key worker and be useful in the community, so much better!

Worth mentioning also that many of the foods in the database do not show correct sodium values, when you check nutritional content on the food packaging it sometimes is different to that stated on MFP. I always go with the packaging values and update if for example the whole salt content has been incorrectly stated as…

Yes! I find this too. Often the sodium content on MFP is blank, incorrect or listed as whatever the salt content on the packaging is. Even the foods that have a tick (which I always assumed meant the values were manufacturer approved? I could be wrong about that though). I am forever correcting sodium values, to the point…

Loving this thread and can totally relate. I lost 3 stone when I first joined but over the past 4 years lost focus and piled it all back on. I’m happily back on track now though and have only the last 4 stubborn pounds to shift to be back to where I was 3 stone lighter. However I’m self sabotaging with sugar binges alone…

Hi, me too. It's not easy is it? I never lost the baby weight after my first then after my second suddenly realised I had somehow put on 5 stone over the years! I'm getting there now though haven taken nearly 3 of it off again, but seem to have come to a halt having spent the last 3 months putting on and taking off the…

Hello from sunny Dalkeith! I'll kick yours if you kick mine, been very naughty today - there has been crisps and dips going on oooh and also mini cheddars, none of which I have logged. Need to get my act together sharp or the 3 stone I have lost will all be piled back on again, nooooooooo!

Snack a jacks for me, couldn't live without them (well I could but would end of scoffing a load of toast instead????) It just seems to help stop me overeating if I'm still feeling a bit peckish after dinner to know that I've still got supper to look forward to in a couple of hours - 2 rice cakes lots of cherry tomatoes and…
-
Is that the same for frozen chips I wonder?

Me too! I've started using a triangle if laughing cow instead of lurpak to spread my sarnies and am saving myself at least 100 cals a pop, tastes not too bad either once you get used to it eh? The only exception I find is on hot toast, tried it once but went straight in the bin. Toast requires butter and that's that. So no…

Rice cakes with cherry tomatoes for me, or walkers sun bites, or a 2 finger kit kat if it needs to be a choccy hit :-)

Thanks Leannems, just tried this and it works! Healthy fried eggs which are actually poached! Nice one x
-
OK. But Scotland is the bees knees :-)

Oooh I thought it was just me! "What did you have for your tea last night?" is the first question out my mouth every morning at work. Also sometimes I feel like the only female ever to hate all other kinds of shopping with a vengeance, except for food shopping, that I can do for hours quite happily browsing the aisles.…
-
I only ever really look at this group, maybe I'm missing out? Mainly I just use my phone for logging so don't get on the forums much x
-
Ooops now you mention it I think I must be some kind of supplement junkie lol! Nothing for weight loss specifically, but I must confess I do take milk thistle which helps liver function, ginkgo to improve my memory/brain, Korean gingseng to try and resurrect my libido (not working so far) cod liver oil and a multivitamin.…

I've been drinking green tea for the past ten years or so, yes I was hooked in with the weight loss claims initially but stuck with it anyway because I grew to enjoy it and like the taste. Sorry to say no though - it isn't a miracle cure or else I wouldn't be on here trying to lose weight lol!
