One cup of full-fat whole milk yogurt with a tablespoon of chia seeds mixed in real good and some blueberries on top.

I too have PCOS. A lower carbohydrate diet helped me tremendously in controlling my insulin levels. Feel free to message me.

That being said, the pork sausage patties are probably the healthiest item of the lot.

Since your husband is a grown adult, I suggest doing what I had to do - lead by example, by cooking tasty yet healthful meals (if you're the one that cooks, that is) and politely refusing any junk. It's amazing how many people I've turned that way. It took time, but it always works.

I strongly suggest batch cooking on a set time during the week. I used to do Atkins products; there's nothing wrong with them, however their cost started adding up over time. I eat 30-40g of carbohydrate a day and hardly use packaged items. Hard boiled eggs and cheese cubes come to mind for quick, easy snacking. But, to…

Then it's got sugar in it - but probably less than half a gram per serving.

Saute some leaf baby spinach in olive oil, season a bit, and serve with a meat of your choice (I like it with salmon). Super easy. Additionally, I like to chop a few onions, red bell peppers and some mushrooms, cook them in some butter and make a nice egg scrambler in the morning.

Breakfast is my biggest meal (1200 cals+) No lunch, except for a light snack. Light dinner. But like everyone else has said, it depends on what you prefer and your lifestyle.

Full-fat yogurt with chia seeds. Eggs cooked in coconut oil. You will not want to eat for hours. EDIT: I posted this with the assumption that you weren't vegan. Apologies if I misunderstood.

I eat a massive breakfast everyday. I do not even want to think about eating until at least 9 hours later. That has helped me a lot in avoiding the candy jar at work.

The macronutrient content of your binge foods are going to make your blood glucose swing all over the place, which might possibly trigger more binge eating in addition to whatever underlying mental or emotional struggle you are going through. I understand where you're coming from as I had/have a similar problem. Anyone is…

Japanese omelets are a nice snack, or tamagoyaki. Youtube it.

I'm a bit confused, to be honest. Can you illustrate why a vegetarian would be screwed? (Serious question)
-
I personally would not be offended in any way, shape or form if a vegetarian claimed to be a carnivore. Whatevs, right? But is that true the other way around? Agree that Flexitarian is kinda silly but like I said, whatevs.

Who is being insulted? Some random vegetarian that doesn't even know the OP? Does it insult YOU? Why?

Frozen vegetables (rarely do I buy fresh) and fish and chicken are cheap. Offal is VERY cheap. Eggs as well. I've found that the largest percentage of my grocery budget that's the least amount of value is actually dairy, and if I skip dairy (except butter for cooking) I have more room in the budget to buy other things. Not…

Science is a good thing to pursue. We all thought ulcers were caused by stress until fairly recently. Turns out it was a bacteria in most cases. Just because something can be shown to CONTRIBUTE to obesity STILL doesn't negate responsibility - but there's no reason to make it harder. Besides, artificial sweeteners are so…
