I am always hungry on the days that I lift weights (my workouts are typically first thing in the morning at 6:30am) so I make sure not to weigh myself the day after I lift. With my increased appetite and the fact that your muscles do hold water to repair (as others already have mentioned) I find it discouraging to step on…

Fantastic! You must be feeling awesome!

You look great! You sure look much happier in the "after" pic, especially with that big beautiful smile. Well done.

I know it's been mentioned already but upper back exercises and core are the key, specifically I found that doing seated cable rows helped my posture a bunch. I do 3 sets of 10-12 reps a couple times a week. When you get done doing them you literally feel like your posture has already improved. Hope that helps. Good luck…

You look great! I think there are many who will be inspired by seeing your pics and when they / we see out 2012 Christmas pics we will realize that we can do it too and will be posting our own 1 yr later pic at Christmas 2013! Thanks for sharing with us.

I have to admit that I'm guilty of liking the show, well, I used to. My wife and I used to watch it every week until this past season. Then it seemed like most of each episode was about the contestants fighting amongst each other and I'm not a fan of that at all. Found myself changing the channel when it happened and…

Great story. I think it will help many of us who make assumptions that people who are successful in losing weight did it with no set backs or hurdles. Reading how you overcame those times is an inspiration to many. Congrats on your success and you look fantastic in that wedding dress!!!

I think the answer depends on the individual. If you are eating your exercise calories and not seeing the weight loss you are hoping for I'd say to not eat them back. If you are not eating them and you are getting the results you want I'd stick with it. And of course if you are finding yourself weak and hungry all day and…

That's incredible! I love seeing transformations like that, it helps keep me motivated by showing me that it can be done if you work hard and stick with your program! That's for the inspiration on a Monday when I really needed it. Don't take this the wrong way but you look great!

Congrats to you and your success! Thanks for sharing your story with us and serving as an inspiration to many. You look great ! Best of luck to you in your journey.

WOW you look great! You don't even look like the same person. What a transformation!

I agree with you. Now I do have to start by saying that I am 40lbs overweight and am still working on it. However, if personal trainer is to be considered a "health professional" and is trying to represent themselves properly, I feel that they either need to have a fit look to them or they need to be improving on their…

WTG! You look great!

WOW! You look great. Amazing looking at the different face pics side by side. Thanks for sharing your story, you inspired many of us with it.

There is some solid advise already given by the other posters. If you make those smaller changes to your life and don't set your expectations so high (example: losing 25lbs in a month or something like that), you will succeed. Hang in there and log in EVERY DAY and Log your food intake EVERY DAY, even on the not so good…

Congrats! you look incredible! Amazing that you did all that in 9 months.................WOW!

Congrats on your accomplishment! I'm sure your son is proud of his mom as he should be. Thanks for sharing your story.

You look great and your smile says it all. It's OK to take in all the compliments and praise from others now and then, you earned it!
-
Congrats! What a difference in the pics. Keep up the hard work and best of luck in hitting your goal before your birthday......you can do it!

That a girl! That's a big improvement. Keep on working hard and appreciate all of your accomplishments along the way, whether they be big or little ones.

Loved the post! Very funny and great to hear your jeans success story. I think Sir Mix Alot may tell you to stop at the size 14 but you keep going until you hit your goal! Best of luck to you on getting into that next size!

What an incredible transformation in such a short time! Wow! Congratulations on your success and your new found health. Thanks for sharing with us.

I'm an egg guy and have some version of eggs for breakfast 5 or 6 days a week. One of my favorites that I am actually eating right now is "Crab Eggs" and it may not sound great but it tastes awesome and for those that aren't big eaters it should keep you full. I also have a bowl of high fiber instant oatmeal with it but…

ditto that.........you may not be at your final goal weight but you have accomplished so much already and it shows! Don't forget to enjoy the journey, it is OK to stop and remind yourself that you are doing great and then keep moving on toward your next goal. Keep up the great work.
-
Congrats to you, that must feel good. I am looking forward to not craving pizza & pop or cookies & milk! It isn't easy. Keep on working hard.

Wow! What a difference! You look great. You look like you lost 50lbs. As bad as it felt seeing yourself in that "before" picture, it was necessary to kick you into getting going. I only say that because I saw a picture of myself at the beach with my boys and to be blunt, I was ashamed at how fat I looked. To make matters…

What a transformation! You don't even look like the same person....wow! Nice job. Glad to see that you've accomplished what you wanted in only a year. I may should this to my niece for inspiration since she has a bit of a weight issue but she has not worked at losing the weight and she's a senior in high school. Great kid…

Incredible story and results! You look great! Thanks for sharing your story. I really like hearing that you still get to enjoy some of the foods and drinks that you love (pizza) and don't call it "cheating" like many others do. I wish you success in your maintenance "shift".....I know you will continue to do amazing things.
