I would LOVE to have an accountability pal. Please add me to your friend list. :)

I like doofus ... then it's fun; not a chore. Thanks!

Thanks all for the great suggestions and support.

Hi Stephanie, Im Sue and I'm 52. Send me a friend request (any one else that's already responded is welcome to do so as well) and we can journey together. I had lost 65# and have regained 40# due to some health issues. I have just gotten a good report from docs andmI'm ready to start again. My former weightloss was with…

Although I feel like I'm always starting over, you can count I'm too!

Fage Greek Yogurt with any fresh fruit and stevia. I add some walnuts to add protein and crunch. Yummy!

Give it up! Many have opinions about diet soda and artificial sweeteners, but I have lived the horrors of aspartame poisoning. Numbness of extremities (my rt arm & hand going numb), hair loss, muscle/joint pain (was popping narcotic pain killers to just function at a "manageable" pain level), thyroid quit, blurry vision…

This is the kind of friends I need/want. So I would love to be connected.

TY so much for sharing your story. Congrats and well done ... you look AMAZING!! You have given me motivation to dig deep and to find my momentum again. :)

Thanks for the post. I lost over 60# eating this way when I was younger, so it DOES work. I've recently lost over 60# (again) doing weight watchers and have now gained back 20#. (Not all due to falling off the wagon some is due to surgery/recovery and then injury.) My heart is weary from CONSTANT focus of food/exercise…

Thank you everyone for your words of wisdom (and to let me know I'm not alone.). I had lost 60# on Weight Watchers and then had surgery where during recovery time doc said NO dieting. Then I had an injury after that and now I'm 20#s heavier. :( Part of my problem now is that I was so WW minded I'm having a tough time with…

I would like to.

.. So can you tell me how it syncs with the Blue tooth with the phones it currently is compatible with? I would like to know for when it might be compatible with my phone.

That is such a great piece of wisdom. We who have grown up an in abusive home would never dream of being abusive towards our children (at least I can say from experience I wouldn't) yet we continue to "punish" the child within. Thank you so much for sharing those liberating and empowering words!

Thanks so much to you all for sharing your wisdom & experiences with me. It is confirmation of what I was thinking would be a good plan.

Owl I'm not sure I understand your post. How are you losing your weight?
-
WBB thanks for your input. I could easily go vegan or vegetarian if it wasn't for DH. I will check out the resources you have provided.

I just contacted fitbit customer service asking about my Motorola Droid and I was told they are working on getting it to sync but nothing yet … so I wait too..

I have rediscovered early morning walking in local mall. One it gets me moving. Two it starts my day early so I can get things done. Walking briskly in the morning sets the tone for the day. I find it extremely motivating to stay in motion as much as possible. Window shopping in peace has it's benefits too. Weekends are…

I'd be a dog for sure (Golden Retriever) and I'd be called Sunshine. Have you ever seen a grumpy golden? ;)

First of all, congrats on the shed pounds (I was told never say lost pounds as you can always find them again. If we shed them, they're gone.) Your testimony is definitely the motivation I needed to get my butt back into gear. (Shed 60+ lbs previously, had surgery in late August, and now back to finish what I started.) I…

That puts me below 1200 calories per day with minus 500 cal, and 1258 with minus 250. (The minus 250 doesn't seem practical if for some reason I miss a day of exercise.)

I guess my biggest challenge is to figure out EXACTLY what it is I'm supposed to have for daily calorie goal. If I use MFP I'm supposed to have 1200 plus whatever I "earn." If I go to http://nutritiondata.self.com/ I get a totally different set of numbers. If I could only get an accurate (and reasonable) number to shoot…

Since my surgery, pain doesn't seem to be the issue with my shoulder. So swinging my arms while walking isn't an issue.. Bouncing is still something I'm trying to avoid for the time being. I am back to walking a couple of miles a day at a very brisk walk so I'm getting low impact cardio that way. I have some free weights…

I haven't given up anything, but I have learned that I can't have it all. So I have to pass up a lot of temptations to enjoy the things that will truly satisfy the craving. the most. But the item I try most to navigate around is wine. Its an occupational hazard since I work for a wine & liquor distributor. ;)

Fall Creek ... I feel so lonely being the only one over on this side of the state, LOL!

I was going to post something similar. I had started Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred when a shoulder injury put me on sideline for about 6 months then followed by surgrery which was 8 weeks ago. I am back to walking 2 mi (40 min) per day, but I am looking for suggestions for exercise routines that are less intense than…
