I took my son when he was a baby. It really depends on the gym and if you feel comfortable with the day care then do it. Ours was great, they had a separate area for infants. As far as babies on the floor, other than the fact that it's probably dangerous to have an infant on the wellness floor, I doubt that the gym would…

Homemade black beans over wheat Pasta (Must go night) with crumbed Morningstar sausage and a sprinkle of grated cheddar. Yum!

Anything with sugar in it. One hard candy sends me looking for more sugar. Eeek!

That's awesome, and always a great feeling! Keep up the good work and enjoy your success!

Started this week and am starting to see a decrease on the scale. I have been a chronic yo yo dieter for years, getting down to my goal weight by eating 1200 (or less) and then rebounding back up immediately. I could never keep up the deprivation. I can see that IPOARM will nip that awful habit in the butt. I have so much…

Same.

You look Mahvelous! Great job! Your story is a reminder to never give up, and that it's ok to take a break and begin again. Love the bikini btw!

Sounds great!

I tried the fake mustache at the gym, unfortunately my rear gave me away. lol. Anyway, I've found gym members to be fairly decent people and they come in all sizes and shapes. Sort of a community itself if you attend the same classes over time. Don't be scared, it really isn't that bad. Also, You don't have to join a gym,…

Yep. Did Plyometrics with a friend this morning. We're both experiencing soreness from yesterdays Chest and Back work. Given the condition of our knees and back, we're planning to switch out plyometrics and spin at the gym instead. I really like P90X, except for the the Plyometrics, (or rather, my knees don't like…

I'm in. Did a partial Chest and Back from memory this morning due to DVD player issues. DVD issue resolved and beginning again tomorrow morning! Tony can be annoying, but it's all good! :)

Way to Go! You look great!

Ditto on what the instructor can get me to do. I've had both extremely fit and somewhat large instructors and it's all about the knowledge and motivation. The best Body Jam class I ever took was from an instructor who was heavy. She was graceful, energetic and funny. Loved her! I wanted to follow her from gym to gym.

Ditto!

I have arthritis in both knees which flare up from time to time so I totally understand. I avoid lateral movement , jumping jacks and anything that might torque my knees (some Zumba moves come to mind) and jumping. No jumping ever! I agree with the other posters, see if you can find an ellipitical or stationary bike on…

Love my Vitamix! I've not heard of the Blendtec so no comment there. A couple my neighbors have the Vitamix also and are equally pleased. One of my friends makes soup and desserts in hers.

Totally enjoyed the McDonald's Filet O Fish this evening. I'll be happy when basketball season is over and I won't be tempted!

I was intimidated as well, however the instructor got me set up and away I went. I try to keep cadence as advised above and keep resistance where it's manageable. Go, you'll be happy you did.

As others have said before "there are worse things". My soon to be 14 year old still sleeps with stuffed animals, and that's all right. It's great that your son still has an interest in kids stuff, it seems most kids are trying to grow up too fast.

I try to get something in my stomach before my am workout so I don't feel woozy. This morning I had a protein shake which carried me through quite nicely and beyond. Other mornings, I've had a small banana.

Not odd at all. My husband snores horribly so I made the decision to sleep in the guest room rather than be awoken every night by the snoring and the desire to smother him. Our relationship thrives and benefits from our being well rested. We enjoy all sorts of activities together, sleeping just isn't one of them.

Fantastic! Keep up the good work!

First, Congratulations! Yes! Yay you! Second, I would think that another 8-12 lb lose would result in looser clothes. Take it from someone who isn't seeing the lose on the scale, but in her clothes. Whatever exercising you're doing is probably working.

If I stay up late chances are I'll eat. Sooo, I try to go to bed around 9 and if I don't, I'll knit or do another activity to keep my hands busy. Chocolate and yarn are just wrong together.

I lose about 1/2 lb a week eating 1200 calories a day and I have been eating some of my exercise calories back from time to time. I think that someone with more to lose might lose at a higher rate. I have about 18 to lose in order to get back to a healthy BMI. No problem here with the mere 1/2 lb a week though, I've done…

It's been a really long time since my c-section (1999). However, I will tell you that I thought I would never be able to do a sit up or be fit again. So awful. I was proved wrong! When my son was two, I dieted and exercised and was in the best shape I had ever been in my entire life. The moral of the story is Never Give…

Agree with the above posters. Don't eat under 1200 calories, it'll work against you. Otherwise, your day looks pretty darn good.

I tend to lose weight during the winter months and then spend the summer putting it all back on. Ugh. I don't know why. Perhaps fear of bathing suits.... This summer will be different.

Look at Livestrong. Do you wear a Heart RateMonitor or pedometer? They helps calculate the calorie burn as well. I just visit as many sites as possible and come up with a number that makes sense. Not perfect, but it gets me there. How is Cross Fit for you? I'm terrified to give it a try.
